@@wattamayo6529 True, in that case though wouldn't it be better to have both genders have long shorts instead of short shorts? Also same thing with how girls tops seem to be much more revealing in the sense that they show off much more skin on the stomach and shoulders etc, might just be me tho

You won't want boys to have those shorts. In case they see something they are not supposed to, they will fall in a really embarrassing situation. Girls do not have those complications.

My mom forced me to get contacts becsuse "glasses are ugly" she also didnt let me dress myself until i was 12 :/ my stepfather said things like "youd be prettier if you wore makeup and lost weight" One eating disorder later i lost 30 lbs in 3 months and he was still callimg me fat. Mom washed my hair forcibly with dish soap because my hair wasnt dry and fragile like hers, forced me to get a curly perm and kids made fun of me for it. Her obsession with looks turned me into an insecure person who will never be good enough for anyone.

Be great enough for you, unfortunately we have no control over the life we are born into as children, but we have control over the life we live as adults, unfortunately those past traumas and demons play a big part of our lives and effect how we move think and behave. But we are also given free will and the chance to change. You have and do understand and realize your troubles and how they have shaped you which is the first step to healing, healing is essential to progression. Do not allow what you could not control dictate your life and prevent you from happiness. Do not allow your parents abuse to thrive and live, your insecurities self value and engrained since of not being good enough and making others happy while hurting yourself will limit your best self in relationships, family, friends, children or future children if that is what you want, your health, your inner peace, it will limit your since of security and will make you more susceptible to abuse in many forms from intimate relationships, family, friends, colleagues,employments, your superiors, every day necessities down to even needing a mechanic. Because a cruel person a narcissist an abuser, a slum Lord, scammer,user, anyone looking for prey can sense the weak, and will attach themselves to you like a leach and drain you dry. You've done the first step and now you must realize that it is not and was not your fault what happened to you, justification for your parents actions is not needed should not be given nor is acceptable. Because you were innocence. Whatever past traumas they endured they could not nor wanted to overcome, their own issues consumed them far more and controlled the way they treated you. They did not value healing,and breaking that demonic stronghold,and they did not value self betterment and the chance for change through you. Understanding that cannot excuse change or dismiss the past, it cannot completely heal from your wounds and how you've been effected for life but it can give you a clearer understanding and a an elevated reasoning for not repeating. You've been granted the amazing opportunity for change, it's not hard and it takes time but I know you can do it, you just have to know that you can to. Don't let it break you, let it make you! You can come out stronger and wiser. The enemy doesn't win by hurting us, he wins when we allow our trails to turn us into what hurt us, much love

I love this man!! I’ve been a professional nanny for 30 years and the level of sexualisation and ponkification that is geared towards little girls has exploded in the last two decades. When I was a kid I HATED girly clothes. Hater ruffles, hated sparkles, hated pink. I loved my cowboys, guns and yes….POCKETS!!! We want to raise healthy girls. No masculine girls or lesbians. There is absolutely nothing wrong with girl liking pink, purple, dolls, glitter and things of that nature. If you want your daughter in dinosaur onzees than buy the fabric and sew them yourselves. I'm not turning my princess into a man. Some things just are not for her. And as a parent I choose. I'm not going to let her touch anything designated to masculinity. Or vice versa if I had a son.

@@Master_Ses Im a girl and I don't like pink stuff. Let your kid like what they want. She won't grow up to be a lesbian, and if she does? Coincidence. Forcing your child out of their (possible) comfort zone is bad parenting. If she likes dinosaurs, that's fine! If she likes glitter pink and all that stuff it's also fine! It shows a kid's creativity. If you're gonna limit that creativity to one thing then might as well not have children at all.

2:40 you dont even understand how like... RELIEVED and Thankful I am that someone else has spoken about this. 2 years ago, my little, half-brother was born, lets just call my mums vile bf c. My mum met up with this other mum who had a daughter, and she was also a baby. Afterwards, c said something really inappropriate. And I dont mean the- "aw, look, they're a little couple" -kind of innapropriate. I mean... something no one should ever even be thinking about, let alone saying out loud. He was always making comments like that about my brother, very very inappropriate things abt him, like, what I said, things no normal person would ever even think abt. Whats bad, is that my mum never told him it was wrong, not bc she didnt know, but bc she didn't wanna start an argument, and she didn't wanna accept that there was smthn genuinely wrong with him. Whats even worse, is that he was aressted for watching child p@$n. He also used to send videos in a groupchat but the police didn't know that, they only knew abt this one video that he posted on Facebook. It was bad :( He still lives with us. When I was going to school at 11, there'd be grown men in vans and cars in traffic staring at me as I waited at the bus stop. It wasnt even the boys at my school that were weird, it was the adult men everywhere else. Its not that I liked it, I hated it infact, I'd have mini anxiety attacks, I just didn't realise at the time that I was so young. I lowkey just want kids to stop being sexualized. Why haven't ppl realised yet that it's sick? And not ok?

Grew up among 3 brothers so I was always dressed in boys clothing more, sometimes my brothers hand-me-downs. And I’ve been wearing guys clothes all my 18 years of life, ppl say stuffs like “why don’t you have girls clothes” or “just buy yourself feminine clothes” Truth is I find boys clothing more comfortable to wear, no straps, frills, ruffles, no see-through fabrics. I’m glad my parents dressed me like the way they did, I’m now trying on some feminine clothes but honestly I don’t feel that safe, wonder how my friends feel

As a 28 year old, i go into a clothing store. Women’s section Large fits a small person, crop tops, if it’s a covered front, the back is open. Anything to basically REVEAL yourself. The boys section, hoodies, oversized, comfortable, pants that don’t give you a wedgie, no holes, crops, cuts. And then we got people celebrating and thinking it’s empowerment. Ok, what about the people who don’t wanna wear this crap? The women that wanna be more modest and not show everything for the sake of showing, or the guys who want something more flattering and form fitting. Ruffles, flowers, princess, queen, sass plastered on shirts it’s like…. Seriously? The stereotype is getting out of hand.

Modesty is sexualisation🤦‍♀️ The western world has sexualized human bodies wayyyy too much especially the female one👌 In some cultures women walk around shirtless just like men do bc boobs aren’t sexualised at all and seen as any other part of the body just like a woman’s hands or feet - boobs are there to feed a baby and not for the pleasure of men! Boobs have been so overly sexualize that most men (and sadly also women including you) cannot even see boobs as a non sexual thing that shouldn’t have to be covered up in the 1st place. Men’s nipples are just seen as nipples but woman’s nipples are literally labeled as pornographic, same as for the chest - a man’s chest is just a cheat but a woman’s chest is labeled as porn, it’s that sexual thing that needs to remain hidden and need to ve covered up at all times.. Your POV is the western one which only feeds into sexualization instead of helping dismantle it .. just let’s cover up even more.. sexualize even little girls for sth they don’t even have yet and preach modest aka supporting rape culture 😒 Modesty is where it starts - not covering up enough will get you „you were asking for it“ and „you cannot complain getting assaulted wearing a skirt & showing your legs“ etc putting the entire blame on the victim and not on the rapist for his actions The clothes aren’t the problem! And even sexualizing little girls is so disgusting & sad - prepubescent girls should be free to walk around shirtless on the beach & pool in the same way boys do - there’s no difference up there, there cheat looks exactly the same and it’s bad enough women’s boobs are so sexualized .. why even sexualizing girls for sth they haven’t even developed yet ?? - you think not covering up is sexualization while there are cultures who think covering up I sexualization!👌 Women get raped in revealing outfits and also full body coverage wearing a burka (Muslim women) and even kids get molested and that in Minnie Mouse Pyjamas & Spider Man costumes = The clothes aren’t the problem Nothing stops you from dressing modest woman🙄 you can buy oversized hoodies as well and cover up your whole body if you want but stop shaming women for not doing so bc then you become part of the problem! And you will see that men will still sexualize you bc again the clothes were never the problem. It has been shown over & over again that In nations where women are forced to cover up their whole bodies there is way more sexualization & sexual assault happening than in nations where women are free to show more skin .. covering up does the opposite of what you want - it creates only more interest
@divine_simplicity

Because most men in modern society are lonely, broke, and depressed, and don’t get attention from women, and have no ability to control what women wear or how they look. This post is nothing more than a kick in the face to guys who aren’t getting enough already. What do you want the average guy to do, protest, boycott in the streets? Women are the more physically attractive species. That’s all there is to it. What, do you want them to look like us, dressing like a stud and nothing visually appealing? Seriously? Hey, guy. How did you make your daughter? He made her the old fashioned way, I imagine. Most feminine women don’t want to look like guys. Just ask them. They will tell you this. When I was child I was shamed for wanting to wear boys clothes instead. But I'd also be shamed that my clothes would get damaged from playing outside and wouldn't last long enough. So I definitely see it from a similar yet different point of view.

1:49 boys aren’t bigger than girls, my twin sister has consistently been way bigger than me my whole life and she isn’t fat at all. i have only been taller than her once in my life (so far), i might become bigger than her after puberty settles down but during childhood boys are definitely not bigger than girls.

You know the crazy part about this is that it's women/gay men who are the fashion designers for most clothing on the market. There's very little straight men that design clothing for women, young girls, and men/boys. So what does that tell you? Good on you pop looking out for your baby girl 🙏

💯 with this so much! I'm always shocked when I see all the girls clothing, swimsuits and think, I as an adult woman still feel naked in a swimsuit, why do I want my kids to be this uncovered as well. I also buy men's shirts for myself pretty much all the time because the fit is so much better. Now if only the pockets for women's clothes would be made larger and more user friendly on other pants besides skin tight leggings. One day!

I agree with everything except the bathing suit part .. Boys walk around completely shirtless on the beach or pool and nobody cares but little girls need their whole chest to be covered up when it looks exactly the same as a boys..?? Why sexualizing little girls for sth they don’t even have yet😒 It’s bad enough women’s bodies are so overly sexualized, especially the boobs wo why sexualizing little girls and make them cover up sth they don’t have developed yet.. prepubescent girls should be free to girl shirtless just as boys do and the whole „but there are creeps out there“ looses its impact bc the creeps & pedos want little boys just as much yet they aren’t forced to cover up for their own „protection“ the moment they are born, being „modest“ which feeds so deep into rape culture bc then the whole blame is on the girls for getting raped bc of their clothes instead of did of the rapist 🤢 „She was asking for it“ and „can’t complain getting assaulted wearing a skirt & showing your legs“ etc
