@@jonathangibson3609 Fridge magnet -strength magnets on the side of your tower is completely fine honestly. It would take an absolutely immense magnetic field to have any effect on your computer (like, putting the tower inside an MRI machine), and if you have all SSDs instead of spinning disks, I'm not sure even that would do permanent damage.
@vurpo70809 ай бұрын
Even though it's electronics and electric currents are affected by magnetic fields, still keep in mind that a regular fridge magnet (or similar strength) has no noticeable effect more than like an inch away from it, and also when you stick it to the sheet of metal on the side of the computer, that sheet of metal will also block the magnetic field. (Also consider that MagSafe and other similar things uses strong magnets that are literally embedded into an iphone, ipad, macbook, with no problem)

okay one quick comment about the traveling circle bit--a lot of "freak show" actors still had *something* as a performance. or at least something more than people looking at them and going "ah!" a lot of them who were able (like bearded & tattooed ladies or conjoined twins) would sing, dance, play an instrument, etc. armless people would light tabbaco pipes or cross stitch with their feet. sometimes "the act" would just be giving an autograph or having a conversation about their lifestory. but there was always *something;* it had to be a show sorry for commenting so much ajsjak. and its not the end of the world that you guys didn't know they were performers; tv and movies do tend to portray circuses and freak shows as people paying a nickle to gawk at Some Guy sitting in a cage. and a lot of Freaks were treated awfully by their families, management, and the public, but they were still talented performers, y'know?

In the vid, you guys constantly question “how is this person telling us this if they died” But it’s not supposed to be them literally telling you in an old video It’s styled after a thing they do in some museums or pop docs and “fun” historical places, Usually it’s a video of an actor dressed up like a photo of the actual person and they’ll pretend to pose for the photo, sometimes it’s just a static photo of the person and an audio track you can listen to where an actor pretends to be the person telling you part of their life story

As someone who still masks because I’m vulnerable, yeah 100% before the pandemic if people were sick around me I didn’t really think about it, & didn’t always get sick from them (I’m sure that’s the case for a lot of people). I think Covid being SO extremely contagious (and way more dangerous) is what shifted our perception. Maybe not everyone’s though, because I see people unmasked open-mouthed hacking up a lung pretty often tbh 😵💫 hence why I mask. Covid also fucks with the immune system, making people become sick with other things more often after they’ve had it. So people might be increasingly wary about having gotten sick more easily the past few years, even if they don’t understand why. For example, the 2022 spike in RSV in young children has been directly linked to having previous Covid infections. RSV is still seemingly worse than before the pandemic, but official data reporting is at 2022 right now (I work with this data).

My doctor refers to them as build up medication because they take a few weeks to build up in your system before you start seeing effects... It takes a couple for any affect and roughly 6 weeks to start to feel it at actual full level but can take months to start showing the "permanent" affects. It is insane to me that what takes 6 weeks to start showing effects takes just 48 hours to start showing effects of not having it

its always really nice when you talk about ADHD meds because I only got diagnosed like a year ago and got the go ahead to get on medication. I got put on Adderall and when it gave me weird side effects I felt like I didn't have ADHD and there were a whole lot of weird emotions attached because of it being the first one to try and the jitteriness it gave me. Hearing that it also wasn't a fit for other people makes me genuinely want to try to find other medication that can work for me, thank you!
@ErikaCartet8 ай бұрын
adderall was also the first medication i was put on for my adhd and i hated the way it made me feel. i ended up trying concerta sometime after and i remember it being a better fit for me, though i stopped medicating for my adhd after i was out of school and felt i could manage other life stuff ok without it

You know what’s hilarious, when Jarvis was getting Jordan to guess Shadows voice actor I no joke said aloud “John Wick… no wait John Wick is a character that doesn’t make sense. I guess it’d technically be Keanu then.” Then after maybe another minute of guessing Jarvis tells us that it is indeed “John Wick”. HOW DID I GET THAT?

i relate so much with not knowing how to react when opening a gift in front of the person giving it. not that long ago i spoke frankly to my closest friends about love languages, about how we hope to give love can be different from how we hope to receive it. like i'd go "oh, X will love this!" when i'm shopping or browsing through online stores, but then i get pretty stressed with the thought of them doing the same to me, lol. of course, i appreciate their presents, and i guess it's a different case if the gift is self-made. if it's something they bought, i can't help but to think "nooo you don't have to, i can buy it myself" (idk if this makes sense) also i remember when my schoolmates would do birthday surprises and i was like "oh no please don't do it on my birthday", but then they do it and i very awkwardly was like "ohmygoshhh--ithinkitoldyouguysalreadythatididntwantthisbut--thank you!!!" LMAO

Man, I love 13 angels so much. It actually gives me chills, especially knowing the context, and I'm kinda bummed that it's become "generic creepy music" now.
@umagralha4 күн бұрын
i don't know the context but i love this song and this whole album and finding out it is used in these videos had me really upset (also I don't even get a creepy vibe from it at all so it also just seems odd)

Jarvis I always appreciate the OSRS shout outs. Most people like to make fun of the community (for good reasons) but it's nice to have some positive people talking about OSRS.

NOT THEM SAYING "Chaos" THE PLURAL OF CHAO IS CHAO okokokok as a sonic fan this is really messing with me i really need to talk about this SA2 did not feature any realistic guns Shadow's game did along with other cartoonish guns Sonic 06 did not have sonic getting into a relationship with a human, however a weird romantic subtext culminated in the human kissing sonic at the end of the game when he turns super (story is weird, dont ask) shadow has never been in a relationship with a human either.

I think Rouge did though right? In Sonic X?
@azurebluedream9 ай бұрын
@@derelbenkoenig There was a weird lesbian/yuri subtext to Rouge's relationship with Topaz in X, but that never went anywhere, either due to intention or wanting to push knuckles x rouge, it never went anywhere. I didn't bring it up as it was never mentioned in the video.

The canon "good" ending of Sonic 06 is for Sonic to ROMANTICALLY CHOOSE Princess Elise (the aforementioned, underage, human girl) OVER Amy.😬
@GamingintheAM08019 ай бұрын
Amy is 12, Sonic is 15, Elise is 17. They're all minors, and I think Amy would be the worst choice in this regard.

Hey Jordan, please consider not using AI in the future! Fueling a system that steals artwork is not cool, there’s plenty of great artists who could draw your D&D character (with and without nose) ❤️
