Some research points to depression affecting short-term memory, but it doesn't just wipe out chunks of your memory amnesia-style. I remember reading something from a researcher trying to study the phenomenon, and their research kept getting interrupted by of the number of people who would forget to come to the scheduled memory tests

Depression does affect your memory (cos it damages your hippocampus which helps with learning and memory) but how long of memory can be affected is dependent on the type of depression you have. For example, i had persistent depressive disorder (mild symptoms for Atleast 2 years) and i forgot almost everything that happened in my past and all i remember was the depression symptoms.

I love that we have these sustainable options now and I actually own some made by this brand. But I still buy a few regular period products for trips or to keep in my purse for emergencies. And if some women who can and love using these products do use them we are still making a good impact on the environmental waste. Everyone should be allowed to use what they prefer but I'm glad feminine hygiene products keep evolving and new ones being invented.

I also used to do that, the "key" was to remove the "ay" from the end of the word and move the last letter to the front of the word, and if you couldn't figure out the secret code you were NOT cool enough to hang out in my shed fort.

Sometimes it's a coping mechanism, because things like; 'I feel worthless' or 'I am having issues with the downstairs area' or 'I am thinking about that trauma again' are not things you feel comfortable fully writing out in text. So you can say; "I feel like that one evening again..' or 'I have that one thing again' or 'That thing about the chair keeps coming up in my head.' Youknow?
