the l’oréal setting mist reminds me of doing theatre back in middle school. the PTA moms would go around and spray our faces with hairspray to make our makeup stay 😂😂 it felt and smelled horrible but it worked
@MsChaosDancer6 ай бұрын
Same. I was a dancer for 8 years. I didn't use horrible smelling spray, I guess. It wasn't that bad. My makeup lasted for 8+ hours. I don't recommend this part, but I sometimes slept in my makeup and ran quick errands in the morning before washing it off. Lol. It looked great. I feel like makeup in general lasted longer back then. Especially MAC eyeshadow and studio fix foundation.

for a totally different kind of theater... I used to do women's professional wrestling and we used it too lol. wasn't totally sweat proof but it helped my dark/goth character not turn into an angry raccoon quite as fast at least. using waterproof mascara as eyeliner also helped-- nobody was close enough to see the texture not being great.

I'm a veterinary technician and I've made genuinely hundreds of paw prints for owners as good bye/remembrance tokens for their pets. So whenever I see these, my brain defaults to the pet is no longer with us. But, for those that want these in advance of that time, I do have a couple tips. Air dry clay is my preferred medium, since you can redo it a couple times if necessary and even use silicone tools to clean up any accidental impressions. But regardless of product, you'll get a cleaner/crisper result if you shave in between the paw pads, then press on each pad to get an imprint. Understandably, not every pet is going to tolerate this well, so take your time, possibly doing it over a few days.

I did the "inkless" paw prints with both of my dogs and it definitely does take a few tries however i do have some tips that may or may not be helpful: - it's easiest to do it when the dog is standing... you can bribe them with a treat to distract them - if your dog has longer fur/hair you may want to trim around the pads of paw(s) - the ink sheet can be used a few times. What i did is i used one ink thing to "practice" and then when i felt confident that i could get it right i pulled out a new ink sheet so it would come out more rich. There is some trial and error but imo totally worth it. Both my dogs that i did it with have since passed and im really happy to still have their paw print to remember them by. Best of luck. ❤

They’ve become so major in so many different aspects of the affordable market and have really stepped up their game both with makeup and skincare, and I know y’all talk about them here and there in many videos, but I would love one video where you discuss things that you really love from the brand, things that were a miss for you, all in one video. Having lived through the 1980s New Romantic spiky hair times, I can say that I remember my Mum asking me how the heck my make-up went on at 6am and lasted all day in the sun, then dropped off home about 3am. It HAD to be the huge amount of Harmony Hairspray (with CFCs) I used. It also works great if your dress/ light trousers are clinging to your legs. A quick spray of hairspray should knock out any static.
