I hate the way I'm not super surprised when I hear people say slurs, it's because of the area I live in 😭 I hear all the slurs at my school, the N word, F slur, R slur, they even know the lesbian slur which honestly surprised me a little bit, I didn't know their vocabulary was that big

I don’t think this lady knows, but you can be upset that there is sexism and racism in America and at the same time be upset that there are slave trades and women getting stoned to death for being raped in other countries. It’s like those people who say that your problems don’t matter because someone out there has it worse than you and that is true someone out there does have it worse then you, but everybody’s problems are valid… most of the time. It’s good to use the fact that there are others worse off than you to remember to appreciate what you have, but don’t invalidate and brush off your problems just because you’re not In a war torn country or dying or have some sort of debilitating illness.
