The chemo I'm on for pancreatic cancer doesn't typically cause hair loss. The first drug regimen I was on I did lose all my hair, but this one only about 20% lose their hair. She didn't necessarily need to shave her head, she just needed to do better research. She's disgusting!

It's why me and my mother think as we do, my mother being the one to teach me as she's STILL haunted by how she gave a 20 dollar bill back in the 90's to someone she saw in need and it resulted in the person getting run over! Turns out they used it instead of for some type of betterment or food, to drink and they stumbled into the street drunk and got hit! She always felt guilty and wondered if she hadn't given that money so easily, would they have not gotten drunk that moment! She's older and realizes that's not her fault, but she WANTS to make an impact in helping those in need WITHOUT enabling bad habits OR dealing with scam artists like Maddie! My girlfriend of 5 years was 20 when we found out she had cancer. The feeling of knowing someone you care about how cancer is unreal. We didn’t even think about cancer being the things to cause the symptoms. It’s been over a year since her last round of chemo and she still wakes up sick. I’m very very grateful she made it. This may be an unpopular take.. However... This girl was 19 when she did this. We all made stupid mistakes when we were 19, though few of them were as stupid or moronic or shitty as this. The social consequence from this is huge, this will follow her for her entire life one way or another, sooner or later people will put 2 and 2 together and work out who she is, and the internal complications from living a life as somebody else, as well as isolationism from literally everyone you had ever met up until that point will be very hard for her. She has a $40,000 debt to pay, on top of any student loans she accumulated until she was (presumably) expelled. The real social damage is in the betrayal of trust for people who have legit gofundmepages, but unfortunately this damage is EVERYWHERE in all aspects of society, one or two bad apples can easily ruin it for literally millions of people. However betrayal of trust isn't really a crime. So I guess for me, if I was the judge, I would have given her a similar sentence, perhaps with a small amount of actual jail time (6 months or a year) and increased the community service, but as awful as what she did was, she was also very young and very, very, stupid. There's probably a whole myriad of psychological issues if she's from a damaged home that could lead someone to behave like this, and it's one of those where trying to understand and support the person might actually be beneficial to that individual actually growing and becoming sensible and leading a good life, rather than just locking them up, throwing away the key, and making them another victim of the American judicial system
