He lives in complete squalor. He doesn’t care about literal wild animals getting into his house. He eats out of/off of appliances and dishes that are infected with black mold and cobwebs. He openly doesn’t care if anything he does kills him. He’s not a hoarder, he doesn’t have sentimental value attached to the junk he keeps around. He just doesn’t see any reason to get rid of anything. He has nobody to impress. Nobody in his life that’s gonna do anything about it. Nobody that’s gonna come over who he feels the need to make feel comfortable. No ambition to tidy things up just to at least have a change of scenery or something. He’s completely alone with no reason to change his ways, not even for his own mental sanctity. As he sees no point in maintaining that either.

I used to live in a room filled with dust and mold as a teenager, I had no issues. Now that I moved out of it, I suddenly have crazy allergic reactions to my old home and my immune system has weakened. Asmon doesn't wish to become weaker.

Been there. House of hoarders, took in my ex before we dated. I’d go over the house and clean the room. The room he moved in was never cleaned out. A relative lived there and went to college. The four of them hoarded everything so I’d go over each week to clean , and each time I’d return it would be covered with crap again. I gave up trying.

As someone who had to clean and repair apartments after people got evicted, I have seen some shit. It took WEEKS to clean it and to purge their roaches. Opening the door for yhe first time the floor was german roaches. It was horrid. We had to bug nuke the fuck outta that apartment, multiple times. They somehow had food in SEALED lights. No clue how the hell they managed to get it in there. I didn't eat lunch while working there because my stomach turned the second I walked in.

Proper cleaning it's going to cost a lot unless you hire folks with no papers. Proper cleaning is ceiling , walls floors etc. extra for kitchen for oven etc. I don't think you'd get anyone to clean though if there is a bad infestation of roaches and/or black mould. It's dangerous to just breath the air. I don't feel bad for Asmon, but I do think he will eventually have to relocate when (not if) he gets sick if true he has these problems in the home.

@@issachijode4534 I think you are right and this might be the reason he doesn't do it. They would have to go in with heavy gear - spray pesticides and essentially sanitize the whole place before they can clean it. So he wouldn't be able to stream there for a couple days or longer.

He is right about the roaches in Texas. There's a LOT of wood roaches, and they are huge. We used to get them in our house all the time and my mom kept our house clean as fuck. They are different than the one's that come around in a dirty house though and they don't multiply like crazy you just see one every now and then

Yeah there's a huge difference between a random wood roach that finds it's way in your house vs the German roach that will infest your house. Wood roaches come in and are mostly looking for water and then die. German roaches come looking for food and of course thrive in a nasty house but can live and infest even the cleanest of houses once introduced because they can literally live off eating just cardboard and even drywall

Yep. Same in my old house. I went back to pick up some stuff after my own mom passed. Sick for a month. Cough, hives, phlegm, throwing up, swollen lymph nodes. . . from touching photo albums and note books. Even if you can't see it, the dust and mold spores will still f*** you up if its present in a location. Happened again last year, and I didn't even go over there, my brother picked up some stuff for me. Wound up with a (american) football-shaped rash on my forearm a few minutes after I took the stuff from him, and all the other symptoms that I already described came back within the same 12 hour period afterwards.

What makes crazy people crazy is the fact that they don't know that they're crazy. Asmon is aware that how he lives is abnormal but abnormal does not mean bad or worse. It just means not normal. The fact that he could just easily, with nearly no effort, call a maid service and pay them whatever they wanted to come by and clean his house and yet he doesn't proves that his lifestyle is a choice. He's not mentally ill nor needs help. He is simply living his life the way he wants to live his life and if anyone told you how to live yours you'd tell them to screw off. Everyone's got their opinion but just because someone is not normal doesn't mean you should make fun of them or insist that they change.

lol that's not a roach... most people who live in a warm area likely has a lot more little things flying around the house than you might think. If you don't believe me, get one of those cheap security cams and put it in night mode with the IR light then review the tape. Every tiny thing that flies by will look like a shooting star. My grandmother in TX has the cleanest, most stereotypical home you could imagine. When I visit and come downstairs in the middle of the night, 1-2 giant Texas roaches chillin somewhere is normal and nowhere to be found during the day. There's a reason roaches will outlive us all. They're the ninjas of the pest world.

Body needs carbs & sugar to function. Your brain is using sugar as the main energy source, just as your muscles do. It doesn't matter what you eat, it only matters how many calories you take in & how much you exercise. Therefore, eating efficient food will help to reduce hunger and to stay full for longer periods of time. People will still get fat if they replace their carbs with proteins, because they will still consume the same amount of calories but with less efficiency.
