can you explain why no cement board on the curb above the vinyl linear please and what to use instead? thanks as I came after my tile guy left to find that he screwed down the hardy board over the curb above the vinyl. !!

Because you attach it with screws and it punctures the liner. You can shape lathe over the curb and use a s type mortar over it to make a curb. I believe goof proof shower systems make a pre fab curb form also. Along as he didnt embed the hardy backer into the mud bed and applies a liquid waterproofed to the curb it will likely be fine but technically it's not right.

Can you do videos on shower curbs? There is not a lot of info on the internet. Like what is your favorite material? Curb heights? How low can a curb be?

Easiest way is a curb overlay. www.noblecompanyonlinestore.com/category/13/curbs

How much you charge customer for remodeling existing tile shower. Taking off old tiles and putting new ones?

Measure out the square footage..calculate the cost of all of the materials, and then the labour should be a bit more than the cost of materials.. like 1.5x the cost at least. Keep in mind as well whether you need to do a tear down & disposal, imagine how many days you need to be there.. what is your earnings goal per day, etc. This is typical practice where I'm from, but everywhere is different obviously
