"Leg day is always the hardest day no matter what. A lot of people will find out that they don't want to win quite as bad as they thought they did."
Johnnie Jackson and Branch Warren recall some of the most wrenching leg sessions they have had. Leg days according to Branch and Johnnie are gut checks that really test your why.
"Its going to require a gut check and you giving it everything you got to survive. then do it again, and again and again."
Branch and Johnnie are extremely conditioned given their training history on top of years of training in the heat of the Original Metroflex in Arlington, Texas. Trying the leg wokout Branch talks about in this video isn't recommended.

I remember Johnnie talking about how he was mad at life or going through tough times . . . Some years back. I myself just went through a long relationship break up and my heart was broken. But i turn it into anger when im working out. Kinda like Johnnie does. I think to myself " ill squeeze my legs so hard during any movement that it will burn so much that ill forget about my broken heart for a bit. " working out saves lives !

It’s amazing how after a few years of social media, both these iron warriors are so much comfortable around the camera. People forget they are in their 40’s and social media was non-existent 20 years ago

KK true, but u had to edit, streamline, and produce it , not like now where u just shoot and upload in a matter of days, and 20 years ago neither were even in the top tiers of competition, so cut them so slack and quit being a negative Nancy

Branch used to be kind of an asshole to the camerman and preferred them not to be there. Nowadays if ur not droppin weekly training videos then youre missing out on a lot of money. You can definitely tell hes more comfortable now. He sounded very monotone and deadpan when he used tp do voiceovers. Now he sounds a lot more expressive and like he really tries to do good voiceovers

One of my favorite workouts was supersetting hacks and leg presses and finishing off with squats working up to a drop set, then supersetting leg curls leg extentions, triping over my legs 4 a few days at work and soreness every workout, but i loved it.

Both are thoroughbreds, War Work - Horses - leg training elevates your testosterone in the body the most. And Branch after legs, pump a few bicep exercises in there - around seven and when you leave it will be just like sex if not better- your upper body will be released with blood flow, your lower body after the workout. Some one whose celibate, training biceps, legs heavy will find they can maintain abstinence as long as they stay married to the bar, dumbbell, gym. one thing is real,genetics is everything,especially in the leg department "thighs and calves",i belive these two guys are some of the hardest training budies,torture legs, but Branch had great weels but Johnnie not so much.

Fucks sake. These guys still train with sloppy form even after their countless injuries. What if I told you, you can stimulate the muscle far greater by reducing the weight, using good form with a fuller range of motion and get this, get this reducing the risk of injury? Is it an ego thing? Is it because you're known as the loud sweaty guys that toss heavy weights around and if you changed your ways (for the better) you'd lose that edge?
