When you said you would try 5th I thought ... that's 6 mph, maybe you threw a turbo on that 5020. But once you got going I said nope... he didn't! Lol. That was a lot to ask from the old girl! And that rock, you sure it wasn't a meteorite? You might have thrown away thousands of dollars! lol Thanks for the vid!

Hi from Indiana . Corn for silage for feed should grow well they do it in Wisconsin. Not much further north.

I think it's a lot dryer in Saskatchewan though

Running a 3320 BG on 10”. I’ve been growing corn for about 12 years. Thought about seeding the corn through the mid-row banders if I could get it deep enough and put most of the fert through the seed runs but I haven’t been brave enough to try it yet.

The summer before my senior year I used to spray on the not flat ground in southwest ND with a light bar and no auto boom height. It kept a guy real busy.

She just about give up the ghost there when you dropped the shanks in the ground. However, once you geared down with that Rubik’s Cube looking shifter deal next to the steering wheel she seemed to get along pretty good.

Was just curious how they are going to chop that corn? The corn heads are like 30" space aren't they?. Maybe they will just swath it
@nellsonstout70014 ай бұрын
They make 20”planters and 20” corn heads for combines so I assume they make 30” forage harvester heads too
@richardjohnson58834 ай бұрын
They can use a bidirectional head on a chopper. They’re a lot like cutting it with a bushhog
@christophniggli47504 ай бұрын
Most chopper heads you can drive in any direction so row spacing doesn't matter

26lbs per acre

The guy that rents my dad's land planted corn 2 springs ago. Sure different seeing a field of corn on that land for the first time.
@MrPaw454 ай бұрын
If I've used the right numbers 26lbs/acre is around 32,000 seeds/acre
@81miguelnichols4 ай бұрын
@@MrPaw45 If it's a normal 85K bag that weighs 57 lbs (according to Ivan), that would be close to 39k. Gonna need alot of rain for that pop.
