That's the first thing that came to my mind as well. Those fingers are way to close to the blade for my liking.

Definitely safety first with a table saw and if you aren't comfortable find another way to make the cut. Personally, I like the control I get with my hands on the material.

I dont like that it doesnt have sides, it means the plastic bin and fold-over of the trashbag is visible. I made mine with sides, which also function as a stop. Bag is only visible on the inside of the bin, bin itself invisible.

something is wrong with the drawer measurements. drawer bottom at 17' and the sides of the drawer at 17 1/4 inch doesn't work. one of them is incorrect wish i knew which before continuing on.

Any recommendations for best alternative to pocket holes if you dont hVe the device/aids fir drilling the guide holes? Or just bury screws at an angle?

Before I had a pocket hole jig from Kreg I would clamp, predrill, then screw. Its not pretty or as strong but can work if you don't have a pocket hole jig.

Just because the cabinet would jut out from the wall too far but you could totally design it the other way if you wanted.

This is what I'm looking for also, and built into kitchen cabinets, not free-standing. I don't have a very wide opening for a trash bin cabinet, so I wanted to have the narrow end of the trash can to the front. We can't be the ONLY people looking for this, lol!
