1st time watching Tim Dillon, it’s refreshing to hear someone in entertainment seem to have a deeper understanding/interest in national/international affairs. I personally don’t care for them, but it’s always engaging to hear someone from such a specific background share their insights.

It's possible to be interested in both. Tim proves it pretty effortlessly. But Shultz is so uninformed it's kind of pathetic. To be honest his comedy has fallen off pretty hard over the past few years. He's cratering his career with his cringe personality.

Shane Gillis is the sole reason why I briefly came back to watch an episode of SNL after 10+ years. He did a good job. Too bad they cut the Liberty Insurance clip. Does anyone know what the ratings were for that episode? I'm curious to see what kind of rating bump Shane brought to SNL compared to other episodes.
@eliyarrows24569 ай бұрын
Idk how to access the ratings, I doubt media outlets care to report it considering a lot of their headlines were “Shane Gillis bombs on SNL” However, if you look that their KZbin you can see his monologue is one of their best performing videos in a while, while the sketches on the other hand are performing averagely to above average. So my guess is that Shane’s episode definitely did great viewership wise however the people were only there for Shane, not the sketches. The only ones who care about he sketches are the normal fans.

Tim is incredibly wise. And I believe he’s so wise due to the fact that he researches these things and understand people so well he extrapolates the motives of things without ascribing outlandish, nefarious intentions while also making incredible jokes in the process. He’s someone that so many people can learn from.

Jesus Christ, Tim's description of boomers is literally my grandparents to a T. Grandpa's dad was a judge, he became a lawyer, grandmother married him and became a housewife, grandfather embezzled funds from his law firm to buy a fancy house in Monmouth County, got disbarred, lost it all, divorced, they both day drunk all the time, beat my mom until she ran away from home when she was 16, and by the time me and my siblings entered the situation my grandma was living in an apartment where she hangs out at the patio next to the community pool and talks with her neighbors. Now my grandpa has dementia from drinking for his whole life, and two out of his three kids are divorced, including my mom. I'm wondering now if that isn't just a New York thing, though, because people from North Jersey are basically Long Island wannabes. It's true as far as I've seen it though.
