If I remember correctly Tim told his Patrons that there would be at least three volumes of Pieces of Me. Each volume will cover a different genre/Era that influenced his musical tastes/ ability. I can't wait to hear what's coming on the next ones.

This style of music is perfect for Tim to show off his fantastic skills. In my eyes there is currently no other singer who has such a clear expressive voice from bass to tenor. Tim is a true artist. Thank you so much for the reaction!

Tim is doing the songs pretty much as they were originally done back in the 50's & 60's. He just adds his "Tim" touch to bring into the modern world for us. Much appreciated.

I knew that Duke Of Earl was going to get you. That one just totally blew me away. I am very familiar with all these songs because when I was a teen in the 80s, I developed a weird obsession with 50s music. Probably due to a fairly well known cover group from the 80s called ShaNaNa. They did all 50's music and had an insane bass called Bowser and several other members. And somehow, Tim sounds like the entire group. Makes me smile every time!

The 50's were my natural 'getting with it" era so all of these Do-Wop songs became my strongest emotional allies in life at that time. In fact, as my years grow longer and inversely my memories fade, these songs (and their type) are still readily available to me when other memories have fled. It only takes a few notes from 55 or 60 year old tunes to have me singing with them. So their comeback through Tim's album(s) return me to a time in life where I was young enough to feel invincible. Not much in life can do that these days. Thanks Tim.

Great story. I grew up in roughly same time preiod and Igot turned on to Do wop from staying up late watching those old PBS fundraisers that they would do Do-Wop long concerts that would last hours and they would often show the group singing as they were and then show them as older guys singing their hits and I just loved it. I would also stay up late and watch those Time Life records when they did Do-wop(and others) where they want you to buy a whole catalog of songs. I also remember ShaNaNa and Bowser and they seemed very talented. Also my mom loved this music, it was kinda her era.

( Runaway Sue) That’s exactly how the song sounded in the 50’s! Those are the actual runs! I love that you try to learn all the runs-and you pick up fast!!! Most of these songs are from the 50’s. "we gotta stop calling him a bass singer" I thought to myself right before you said that; "that's so impressive for a bass". But how can I call someone who sings like that a "Bass singer"? Its so limiting and an insult to Tims ability to be so strong in his range. Much like all the popular bass singers. Geoff, Avi, etc. we call them basses but they can sing higher and stronger than I can. Truly masters of their instruments.

Runaround Sue. " Runaround Sue " is a rock and roll song (in a modified doo-wop style), originally a US No. 1 Hot 100 hit (No. 4 on the Hot R&B chart) [3] for the singer Dion during 1961, after he split with the Belmonts. It was written by Dion with Ernie Maresca, and tells the story of a disloyal lover.

GREAT reaction my dude!! I am a Homefry and big fan of theirs and the first solo song of Tim I heard was "Will you still love me tomorrow/Stay" mesh and when he flipped the switch to hit the high notes, I had to look to see if someone was squeezing his balls. HAHAHA He blew me away with his range and the clarity in his range.

Yes it's ALL Tim layer upon layer Peter Hollens, and Geoff C. Does it too. Peter is a master at layering voices. Don't think Tim is quite as low as Bowzer was on Good night Good night. Look up Sha na na.

I've been putting off watching this reaction because my copy of the CD only arrived here in the UK on Christmas Eve and I wanted to listen a few times myself first. But I'm glad I've got to it now! I love every single song and it's great to hear from someone who really appreciates Tim's ability. Keep up the good work!

I have so enjoyed listening to Tim Foust showing off every bit of his talent in layer after layer on this album and to watching it dawn that it really is all Tim Foust. The guy is freaking amazing and so much more versatile than just anyone with a voice. He just isn’t as limited as most in his ability or range.

That was awesome!!! Thanks for doing this. What kind of seasoning does Tim put on his chicken??? I don’t know. He is freaking amazing. I think he can sing higher than me. And his lows….well now, they’re in another dimension. His highs are really high. Sheesh! You can almost match him. I love your vibrato. It’s a good album and I’m going to ask for it for either Christmas or my birthday in January. It was so much fun listening to it with you. I love “In the Room”. It’s from The Beach Boys….one of my favorites. Great reaction SR!!😄

I love Doo Wop! I heard, "Runaround Sue?" I was like omg!! I grew up hearing these because of my parents. ❤❤❤Tim has a 5 octave range, not 10 which is still incredible!

Lots of sources quote Tim to have a 5 Octave range. I don’t give 2 hoots about that stuff - all I know is that he’s my musical vocals man crush & I’m now a “Home Fry” with 4 different Home Free playlists I listen too 😂 Looked at his Patreon & wish I could afford one of the top 2 tiers. Wishing he and Home Free will visit Australia in the near future.

In My Room is a 60's Beach Boys song. I would love to hear him to do covers of their fast songs I'm sure he would do them justice.

Tim Foust captures the distinct character of the doo wop sound as I experienced it in my early youth.
