Why do you spend so much time talking about and asking questions about Tim's Background, especially in the beginning? Do you think that's why people are here? No. They're here for his philosophies and insights. Every minute you delay what people came here for, they lose interest. They feel antsy. Their interest level declines. Your goal should be to get people interested immediately. Not to find out about his name, where he grew up, how he took an interest in sports. I mean which approach is more likely to work: start slow, or make it as interesting as possible from the first minute?

Thanks for taking the time to comment in such detail. Part of the podcast is to learn where motivation comes from and someones background is a part of that. Thanks for being a listener.

I've heard a bunch of other interviews with Tim Grover and I really appreciated hearing more about his background. It was the best interview that I've heard with him. Thank you

@@markdivineshow Jesus. I read my comment again and it was awful. I think this whole social media thing is largely a failed experiment. it's so easy say things without thinking, and we forget that there are other people on the other end reading it. It's almost like you expose other people to your unmeasured internal impulsive thoughts about a thing. And many of our whims are negative. I should've been congratulating you for having the courage to do this at all, and for the accomplishment it was to get Grover on your show. Ignore the impulsive frustrated nonsense comment I left before. I regret my tone and coming across that way. Your reply was the high ground, and obviously commendable. Take care and best of luck.
