9 assists per game might not sound great, but when you factor in that this team played stiffling defense and averaged in the low to mid 90's in PPG, Hardaway was assisting on like 20 percent of their baskets, and then scoring on another 30 percent. He was 50 percent of the teams offense and wasn't even the leading scorer. That's pretty impressive and Tim Hardaway is a really under rated player.

One of the greatest duo in NBA history that gets rarely talked about...thank you for doing this piece...Its ashamed that Zo was not selected among the 75 greatest and Rodman is ...both were 2time DPOY ..but Zo was not just a one way player like Dennis..he averaged 20+ pts a game most of his career..he also didn't get to play with all time greats like Isiah Thomas, Micheal Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Tim Duncan and David Robinson..Zo had to carry the offense and the defense on his team..in his prime years, Rodman only had to worry about defense..so whyis Rodman a 75 greatest and Zo is not...please sombody explain that to me

@@gargeluy3035 Thanks...I also feel the same way towards Sean Kemp and Joe Dumars..they should have been picked over Rodman for 75 greatest..Joe D had the hardest job in the NBA ..gaurding MJ face up..and still averaged 20pts a game..Joe D was MJ 's premiere defendr.. Rodman and Salley came in on the help if MJ got pass Dumars. Gary Peyton was selected 75 greatest but Sean Kemp wasn;t ..really???...Kemp and Peyton was nearly as good if not just as good as Stockton and Malone who were both 50 greatest..how in the hell do you select Peyton and not select Kemp..that team went to the finals..Peyton definitely couldn't take them that far without Kemp...in the 90's the greatest duos were MJ & Scottie, Kemp & Peyton, Stockton & Malone, Drexler & Porter and Hardaway and Zo. Rodman is highly overrated he's a one dimensional player. Maybe top 100 but no way top 75 over these guys I mentioned. I would also put Bernard King, Tracey McGrady, Dwight Howard, Vince Carter and CWebb over Rodman...yes I said it Chris Webber..CWebb led his team to WCF and was robbed by the refs at a chance to compete for the chip. Rodman has had the benefit of playing with some of the top 25 greatest players his entire career never having to carry the scoring or playmaking load..name one player Cwebb played with in his prime (when he played with AI he was past his prime) equal to Isiah, MJ, Scottie, Robinson, and Duncan..and for a brief time with Shaq and Kobe

Please do Otis Thorpe and Dennis Johnson and Kiki vandewegh and Jack sickma and Dan Marleje and Joe dumas and Terry Porter. Glad to suggest more like Vern Flemind world be free or even Reggie Theus.

You want a forgotten player? Who is the only NBA player to average over 14 points, 6 assists, 6 rebounds, and 2 steals per game for his whole career? He is also one of only three players in NBA history to record 15 plus points, rebounds, and assists in a single playoff game. (The other two are Wilt and Kidd.) He had FOUR 20 point and 20 rebound games in his career...despite being only 6'3". This guy played in the 1980's and early 90's...only real basketball junkies will know who it is.
