He is a POS and sounds like he has Borderline Personality Disorder & Narccisstic Peronality disorder & maybe even Schizo affective disorder. I wouldn't want to be in a band with him. What if some members had a disagreement - he could be a threat to their families.

To have his wife murders means that he must have been planning for the murder for a longer time. That feels extra disturbing, he had so many moments to stop it.

Tim is, was, and always will be the issue. I said it when it was happening, he must have done and/or said some really messed up stuff for the whole band to quit. I said forget it after they did the reunion and then all the original members quit again like a year later. Hiring a hitman to kill your wife is something thats very difficult to get forgiven for, even if as he claims it was the steroids messing up his brain.

Just gonna throw this out there, it's reasonable (and wise) to adjust your vision over time. If you have some kind of vision you dreamed up when you were barely an adult and you're just running through over 20 people to achieve it, maybe part of the problem is that the 'vision' you have of your band isn't realistic and you're ruining everything trying to achieve something that will never happen. There's actually an entire movie about this but people don't understand the true meaning, it's called Requiem for a Dream. To me it sounds like he's caught with his head in the clouds and I'm surprised no one has mentioned that yet. And that's actually what the movie is about, letting your ridiculous dreams ruin you.

Tim sounds like an ego maniac. All he seems to care about is "his vision of the band" and putting the blame on others. The other 4 guys didn't point any fingers at anyone, just expressed their feelings about the situation. Tim is trying to make it all, Phil's fault.... Idk what happened but we can speculate a little based on what Tim has said. For one, he acknowledges that there were creative, personal and financial problems, he also refers to 3 of the 4 guys as "touring band", when it has never been stated that Ken, Ryan and Nick, were "touring members". My bet is that the new album details were finalized and the 3 were only credited as touring members or not credited at all and that didn't sit right with any of them. That could be what the talk about Tim's vision of the band and how him and Phil didn't see "eye to eye" on it. Ryan was playing bass and doing clean vocals...so he should at least get credit for that...judging by how Ken stood up for Ryan and even said "he's a flawless musician..." which might have something to do with something that Tim, said to Ryan, which further caused him to leave the band...Tim seems like the kind of guy that lashes out at people... Maybe Phil did decide to leave because of the whole situation with Tim and how he still thinks he's running a 1 man show. I agree that it's crazy to even get back in a band with a psychotic sociopath like Tim Lambesis but I won't vilify the 4 ex-members for doing so. I can also forgive them, a lot more than I can ever look past what Tim did and forgive/forget that he tried to have someone killed.
