This tune has what I think is one of the most beautiful lines ever written in the English language:" I still might run in silence tears of joy might stain my face, and the summer sun might burn me 'til I'm blind". If you have ever been thousands of miles from home, or just wandered the country, or knocked around with no roots, you'll understand.

I have been to several Tim o Brien concerts in the UK and the one which I remember best is meeting the man at the Fiddle Fest in Baltimore in Cork, being O Brine on my mother's side we got talking where his people came from and mine and so on ,he came over so relaxed and easy going ,I can't say if he joined our session.went to see him perform at night in the main hall , and he spoke again to me awhile and to my friends ,I will always remember his unbelievable mandolin picking , guitar, fiddle and old time banjo , what a talented man JB

Happened onto this yesterday and it simply washed over me. The effortless musicianship is beyond words. This was a beautiful moment for me. As you listen to the breaks or fills during this "happening" the phrase that came to mind was, "less is more" it wasn't about cramming every note they could but placing the right note in the phrase at the right time. Powerful. Thank you Mr.Boris7910

Timeless and redone ingeniously by the best in the business. I would add that Glenn and John would be the first to stand and clap to see it done so well! I remember watching them stand up in the middle of the audience playing the song on The Glen Campbell Show for the intro, and it was damn good then as well. I agree with comments below that Duncan is truly the hidden pearl here.
