another good one: John Riddell's novel "A Game Of Cards", printed on the faces of 4 decks of playing cards. one deck is a collage to be assembled in any order (which always ends up looking about the same), another a poem that can be read in any order, another is the novel itself (also readable in any order) & the 4th is a set of performance instructions for a play. the decks all interreference each other.

The cards from "Texas" are actually based on the story of Wild Bill Hickok. A lawman of the 1800s who was shot and killed while playing five card draw in the town of Deadwood in Dakota. The infamous "Dead Man's Hand" of Aces and Eights with one discarded card are based on what he was holding when he was killed. I thought this story might add some more interest to the description of the deck of cards.
