James saying that Dr. White kept using the word permission is highly disturbing... Especially considering the fact that Dr. White never used it.

No such thing as problem if evil - God has ordained every last drop of it. The crucifixion of our Lord Jesus Christ was - listen up freewillers - DETERMINED by the Tri-Une Jehovah in eternity. You have a problem with that ?? Clearly you do................

I confess that Christ was given over by the predetermined plan and foreknowledge of God. The extrabiblical Calvinist idea that God unilaterally determines a sinner's faithless disobedience does not follow.

Can you do a debate with someone in the hebrew roots movement? Someone that says we must eat clean and keep ot laws. Ive been super confused bc i can see 2 ways of looking at it. Shoot even more than 2. Can you help people like me understand what we can or cant eat? I used to say all food is clean by the stomach since it purified it. But my friend said im taking that out of context and its really about having clean hands. All food "kosher" isnt made unclean by our hands. It was about kosher being made unclean by unwashed hands. And i can see where hes coming from. But imo its saying both. Its about the washing of hands, but its also deeper than that. Its showing that are stomach makes all foods clean based on purification of the stomach. Am i reading my bias into the text? Please help!

All you have to ask yourself is what animals did YHWH say were for food, and which ones did He explicitly prohibit from being classified as food? Once you understand in His wisdom He made some animals food and some animals garbage disposals, then you'll understand the whole dietary law commandments. It's really simple once you cut all the religion and traditions out of it.

Lol I can see it now, Student to Molanist professor, so does that mean that Jesus only suspected that Judas would betray him and that he might die on the cross? What about Jesus prophecy to his disciples that they would be martyrs? Or God hardening Pharoahs heart then judging him for it, is God now evil or is that God's justice? Molanist professor replies, what are you some kind of calvanist? I don't remember reading that in the Bible, but I do know what Hegal, Craig, Molina, and Flowers says on the matter. Calvin's teachings aren't doctrinalily sound according to my philosophy I impose on it, therefore I ignore Scriptures I dislike which don't support my views.

@@jameshayes211 omnience can't account for molinisms inability to explain how Jesus knew judas was going to betray him, that leaders would crucify him, and that his disciples would be martyred or that God hardened pharoahs heart and then judged him and God was right for doing so. And when God casts people into hell, they will get what they deserved and it because God judges people before they are even dead. Like the pharasees. God's justice is scary and Calvin and his contemporaries deal with it and Armenian and Molina doesn't.

As smart as White is, I'm willing to suppose that he knows he's wrong on the Calvinist question. I suspect he feels he is too invested and has too much credibility at risk to admit error on this point. It's regrettable. White is a gifted and diligent Christian theologian and apologist, and I have profited greatly from his work, especially his many publicly moderated debates.

@@Tanjaicholan I'm willing to demonstrate the theological deficiencies of Calvinism whenever afforded the opportunity. Let's take the Calvinist suggestion that God necessarily withholds an effectual call and irresistible grace from some to make a full display of His wrath and justice. Implicit in this idea is the unbiblical notion that the cross of Christ is insufficient to make a full display of God's wrath and justice. Or, if you'd rather discuss another Calvinist idea, please, let me know.

@@jameshayes211 So contact James himself and argue with him. To me you sound like someone who has not been born from above.
