First timer here Tim. I was subscribed and this vid popped up next. I’ve solo camped as a single mum a fair bit down but it amazes me even two decades later with all the Chinese made camping gear we really don’t need much to survive or have a great time out bush. A few good tips like the jar of garlic you spread on your quarter lol I look forward to seeing more!

Relaxed slow pace of cooking brekky, lunch and dinner with not a care in the world. I Loved it. Dare I say, wouldn't mind some more of these solo camping trips.

@@timbates4wdadventures Gday mate. Just wondering, that contraption you use for cooking over the coals, where can I find myself one like that?

I enjoy solo camping or with my dog where allowed. Also cold country areas. Have you ever considered a roof top tent? They are ready in a few minutes and great if it's raining or snowing, as you leave your mattress and bedroll inside so it is dry and warm. also being off the ground keeps you off the path of runoff from heavy rain. Tim , another enjoyable video.Love the bird and flowing river sounds. Showing us places that we can look forward to exploring. I drive an AWD SUV, a tad restrictine,but this area looks accessible. Not keen of fording fast flowing rivers with 210 mm ground clearance and no skid plate or winch. Safe travels.
@timbates4wdadventures3 жыл бұрын
I wish i could take a dog, but it's hard with the National Parks. Roof Top tents isn't really for me for a couple of reasons. Firstly they take up all my roof rack space and secondly is the weight factor. Im looking into tents at the moment. Thank you for your feedback, this was an amazing trip and the local environment sounds are so relaxing. You would need to be careful with the vehicle you have. But, look the spot for this video. No 4wd required. Stunning alpine area. Cheers Tim.

G'day Tim, first time watching your video mate, loved it. The round jaffle iron took me back 40 odd years, camping with the old man. We had a square one also. I'd love to see you swinging the billy over the shoulder to settle the tea leaves. Subscribed. Cheers mate 👍
