Nice video, thanks! FYI, don't do what the guy shown in the video does: get a few feet from a timber rattler with bare feet. Bad idea. They can strike you from around 2/3s to half their body length--even ones that look like they might have just finished eating lunch.

I just stayed at Dutch Doctor two nights ago. That's a phenomenal sighting! I'm pretty sure I saw a black bear came through our campsite at dawn (I slept in a hammock) and was looking for anything related to that. Did you see any bears there?

You are allowed to camp within 100ft of the lean to 😊 not sure anyone told the snake.

Evelisa Valentin yea. lol there's a video of the guy in Harriman state park and a snake (rattle I think) fell on his head while he was in a outdoor shelter.
