Hey, just wanted to say that your videos have been tremendously helpful to me on my journey to get skin deep (trophy popped 10 minutes ago after I finally got the Florida panther to spawn) and I only have 6 more to study for zoologist. Also, I really appreciate that you put up a decent, long spoiler warning on all your vids with John in them. KZbin was where I had that part of the ending spoiled for me and so it's nice to see that some youtubers do things right. Also, just wanted to say that I subbed to your channel out of appreciation.

One year later (wow, time flies) and I still fully endorse this channel and everything I said. When people ask me where to find an animal for these trophies, I still send them here. And I did eventually platinum the game, btw 😁. seriously, probably my biggest gaming accomplishment to date (to this day, still only .1% of players have platinumed this game.) However, I still haven't gotten around to playing any Soulsborne games so I probably don't know shit.

I ran the Cumberland forest circuit (looks like a peanut lol) between midnight-6am til they spawned. Easy to tell from grey wolves as these almost look black. When they got near, I hopped up on a boulder where they couldn't get me, hit a few with a poison knife, and was able to study one before mercy killing it

@@RyanPoutine there were definitely youtubers who were for sure using editing software to make their video guides who were playing as John with no spoiler warning. like, a lot. i would even say it was rampant. the other thing I saw done a lot was KZbinrs putting the executioner hood over John's head and playing like that which I dunno maybe fooled some people but Arthur and John have completely different body shapes and even if you don't make John say any dialoogue, he still grunts and makes noises while riding the horse and you can tell it's not Arthur and sounds a lot like John. The John/Arthur death spoilers were a huge problem on KZbin right after this game came out. I had it spoiled while watching a video aboit the game that had nothing to do with John or the ending and with no warning one of the first things thr guy says is "so we all know that Arthur dies from TB and then you play as John, well.... yadda yadda blah blah" and I was so mad. now I know though. when last of us 2 came out, I staight up deleted thr app so that I didnt get any recommendations or anything like that that might spoil the game. and I actually finished without any spoilers 🙃

mine was running with grey wolves, so i spread some predator bait and managed to get on a rock out of their way and study the beast lol.

standing on a boulder is the easiest way to study,photograph and kill a wolf,cougar,panther and even the grizzly bear..they cant attack you

On my way of getting there got attacked by wolves, killed 1 and just shot the other with a pistol to hurt it and was actually able to study it while it retreated in pain xd

just a note to others, sometimes wolves will retreat if you fire right over their head and 9/10, if its a big group, the last one will run away after you've killed the rest of his pack. so make sure you save the last one as a timber wolf (sometimes the packs are mixed with gray wolves) and if he doesn't retreat, fire over his head, or a warning shot (up on d pad while aiming) might also do it. That's your opportunity to study if you didnt have a chance to study before they went aggro
