Thank you for a honest review and not a sponsered ad on channels like elkshape, Chris bee etc. It's a shame how people think that new is always better. Often innovations go backwards. Maybe the new tuning option is the right way but 99% of all archers can't even outshoot a 2021 compound bow. They believe they will be better with new stuff but a good archer shoots well with every bow.
@codyspriggs6739Күн бұрын
The lift is a beautiful bow, I have one. The thing about the lift X that is supposed to separate it from the previous model is the tuning feature and that you don’t need a press. However, you can’t fully tune it at home without a press because if your timing is off, you need a press lol. It’s a great way to really micro tune it and get those left and right tears out. Neat feature for bow techs though.

I'm anxious to shoot the RS in 70#. I'm a pa bowhunter and I love short ata bows for hunting. I think the RS is one of the most impressive bows Mathews built in awhile. Mainly because of the 2 different limb weights. And to have the tune ability also.. that one bow goes from like Max 40 ish to 80# and from 29-23 ish draw length. With switch weight mods. Wish it had more options for let off and had 1/4" draw length. But over all I think it's gonna be a big hit. I think the 5.5 brace will scare alot of guys. But for out if my climber or blind or my saddle or off the ground? I think the RS will be the best hunting bow in 2025. At least for us guys who hunt timber and Treestands and keep it 40 yards and under 90% of the time. That 5.5 brace will be nice when you need that arrow to get there quick! And bro... hard to take you serious with that mustache!! Haha just jk Timmy good video good vibes

@jbr9433Күн бұрын
Looks good but for me, living in Spain, Lift/Lift X is out of the question. If a limb breaks (which is not so improbable) I would be a long time without a bow... This year I will change from Mathews to Hoyt and see how the better adjustability (DL within an inch and letoff, hard/harder wall is a gimmick) goes. Or maybe Prime...

I guess you could look at it as it is their own way but it's kind of a spin-off just like apparently Athens did I didn't know that they 100% copied BowTech you know it's on a warm gear in there to move that limb back and forth similar to BowTech moving the cam back and forth which is a great thing it's amazing to see them go this way

You guys are killing me 12 months ago I bought the lift and the UV slider after hearing from you guys that it was the best thing around and now you’re saying I gotta upgrade 😂😂. I’m not even sure the lift is better than the phase 4 I have both and honestly don’t think the lift was that much of an upgrade. I have been told by an archery shop that’s much bigger than Spokane Valley archery tuning a bow with limbs is better left to the professionals so why would we commoners want that?

I guess my biggest issue is what Josh said on the podcast I listened to yesterday. The bow is finicky to keep timed, and they still haven't integrated a way to do it without a press.....so this limb adjustment doesn't address the biggest tuning issue with the Mathews. Still leaning Darton after 20 years with Mathews. EDIT: ......but my lord is it fast and QUIET
@RKeaton2 күн бұрын
You can adjust timing with the SCS cable - can’t visually see which one you have to adjust like you can on a draw board, but you can do it without a press

Apparently Chris Bee had a lot to do with the improvements on the slider 2.0 and helped the partnership between Ultraview and Mathews since he's sponsored by them and works with them both.. but the price point for Ultraview products are so out of touch with blue collar guys. It's ridiculous that the sights, a dozen arrows, and a release by Ultraview is about the same price as a NEW MATHEWS BOW. Like WTF! That's absolutely absurd. It almost feels like price gouging. Think I may look into contacting the BBB because that is a thing especially when the price of those sights are double the price of any comparable sight.

I will have to do a 100% hard pass it looks so like floppity when you get into that back wall yeah it might be solid once you get there but when you go through that Valley man it's like it's like the whole entire bow shakes because you drop into it it messes your grip up it can actually you know mess some other stuff up get you off of Target so much but that's what's great about archery is it's to each their own
