The Tim Dillon Show

The Tim Dillon Show

4 жыл бұрын

Tim has on Seattle-based journalist Katie Herzog to discuss CHAZ, her exile from the gay community, Furries, and many other things that if I typed them here would take us out of the algorithm. In this episode there are bulldog puppies and stories of friendship and cereal. Enjoy.

I believe the point is when you chase some sort of objective and tell yourself “I’ll be happy once I get this or once I have this or do this” you’ll find that once you get that thing you’re no different then before. The path to happiness is within not some external point to run to. Look within and find a perspective that allows you to be happy in the present. And spend as much time in the present because happiness is maximized when you’re not thinking of something else while you’re doing whatever is bringing you happiness, but not thinking much at all and being “lost in the moment”

@KingMinosxxvi
@KingMinosxxvi 3 жыл бұрын
@@DynamiteProd The point is that the media does not make legitimate information be readily available. (at least beyond a very narrow scope) Media outlets are restricted on all sides. They are restricted by advertisers, they are restricted by lobbies, they are restricted government, they are restricted by PC group think, they are restricted by demographics, they are restricted by threats of political litigation ect....ect... It is precisely because Tim is a comedian (and more pricisely a gay comedian doing a podcast) that he is not restricted by those things. So maybe before you jump the gun you might point out a better source of information.

Another uplifting episode filled with information and hope. Tim Dillon introduced grandma and I to a brave, bright reporter with her finger on the pulse of such timely subjects. The conversation opened up hours and hours of dialogue between grandma and I. I learned a array of things from the expanse of a 78 year old mind. The views shared weren’t that of many but they were shared with such delight, I will be passing on the information to many many others. Possibly her doctors and other health care specialist as well. Tim Dillon, again, we thank you, not only for the being there for us, but also for the doors of information you leave wide open and the ones you leave slightly ajar, you allow us to open those doors and discover the vats of information ourselves. We carry it, then when you bring it up again, we feel well versed unlike all the other slugs. You sir deserve a monument , and grandma and I and the little dilloknights would proudly defend that statue, til the bitter end. Your parents must be so proud!

Fascinating interview by 2 super interesting and funny people who dare to be themselves without fear of retribution. Keep doing what you do. Definitely following Katie on Twitter now after hearing her for the first time. Kudos to you both.
