Yup, yup. Next, he needs to be given access to a augmented version of mass cure light. You get an extra 3d8 to the roll but everything in the affected area (enemies to) have to roll a dex save to close their eyes or be blinded for 1 rd. I initially thought 2d8 but I would really like Alan to be tempted to use it. I would love to see Rowan give him a, don't you do it look! It would also make him a target, I don't think monsters like being blinded.

To defend Ben, he’s kind of a treasure horder crackhead who loses track of his abilities and items. He’s often not got a clue what to do in battle because he’s there in the moment and not prepared behind the scenes by studying his character or abilities.

@@Sophie-and-Ken that more true 100 episodes ago... He's definitely more in it for improv than optimisation but he been playing an arcane rogue right in the last two fights. The dice gods are JUST that merciless towards him, including letting him eat a Finger of Death for doing the exact pop and shoot a rogue should do. Magic ambush is going to be tough for him though, since his main advantage will be to use repelling blast. But his dice rolls................... All the advantages of him being a warlock disappears with his absurd dice rolls and the way damage gets attracted to him......

Blinding Heal is far more useful as an attack spell. You only heal the opponent for an average of 9 damage, but you have a 50% chance they're completely blinded for an entire round, which is going to let everyone else pile on an incredible amount of damage.
