This is what is old heads (1992 SF raver here) used to call a Massive. This crew hella did the thing! My younger brother turned 18 3 days before this & my mom bought him & his boys tix for his present. Wish I coulda been there. Oakland still has raves under freeways but nothing like this . This was a peak for sure. Much respect! You forever spread PLUR in the Bay & it’s truly part of the culture now. 💛💛💛

I miss all the raves, in Portland there were raves every night for a while. All the newer loft apartments and coffee shops around the city used to be warehouses where we just danced and loved and connected, it really was amazing. Today's world could sure use a good old fashioned rave(well when cVd is done with) Do people still have raves/candy kids?

That looks like a sick ass party. And to have the idea to massive tents under a freeway is actually smart too. Depending on the specific location you can avoid neighbor complaints and possibly expesnive insurance like an expo center or sports arena. I love when they seperate the rooms/genres to. And to all the people who had the foresight back in the day to bring cameras to record this place in time, I seriously applaud you and thank you. Even when I was throwing parties I was only 16 and heavy into partying so I was always hoping to party in between my duties, lol. This was a nice flashback to a much missed time era.

I don't know about that. I guess crap edm is pretty blunt considering their are so many different styles now. I definitely went to tons of raves from 2000 to 2005 and loved every type but today I'm into tech house and hardstyle and not that sappy shit gotta have that dirty bass and screeching high punches. The difference between then and now is the scene has gotten way bigger and a lot louder.
