I’ve had this juicer for more than a couple months already and used it for about 15 hours total. Keep in mind it does juice faster if u use the plunger. I love it and it has only a couple negatives. Easy to use and clean love the loader makes it so simple!

@@ussmc1 just small stuff like there’s a very hard to clean spot that food particles can get stuck in on back and a small gear in the bottom that gets fibers stuck wrapped around it. Not too bad tho way way more pros than cons. It does save a lot of time prepping n juicing tho.

Finally, set it and forget it! I got the Omega vsj843 and it takes hours to make juice for the week. I ended up taping a huge automotive funnel over the feed chute because the small hand feeding was super messy and ridiculously time consuming. I also made the pulp chute larger because it clogged every single time I used it. I would love to have this new machine, it looks like I would have designed it!! lol but hate to have to spend another $500 though. Congrats to the person who wins this one!

The Evo 820 by Kuvings is amazing for the issues you have. I loooove mine. Almost no pre-cutting, besides celery and really big veggies. I picked this model because I am too lazy to bother taking time in pre-cutting and washing the juicer, and I absolutely do not regret.

The carafe is WAYY better, but the pulp chute is tiny tiny tiny on this one too. Miraculously it doesn't clog though. I like this machine much better for batch juicing for the week.

Love your comparisons. I am still using an old Champion but love the prefixed batch concept of this. How far ahead do you think batches can be fixed? I have help 2 times a week, and can't handle washing produce, so it seems great.

Thanks for the video review. How wet vs. dry is the pulp? Looking for a new juicer and want one that extracts the maximum juice our of the plant. Juice mainly celery, also apples, cukes, carrots, ginger, turmeric and various leafy greens. Bought a juicer from you, John, about 14 years ago.

the dryness of the pulp is 100% subjective. In this episode, I would say the pulp was of good dryness, but not significantly more dry than other juicers of this style, such as the vsj843 for example.

Hey John, I'm really struggling to understand why everyone keeps making out like the juicer is the new technology in juicing... because Hurom have had a self feeding juicer for over 2years. How is the supposed to be any better?

The J2 is one of a kind due to its specific design, features & company. There are differences between the Hurom and the J2. Hurom had the H-AI first, but that juicer did not perform well. The H200 has self feeding, but will make LESS yield based on my testing of the H101 that uses the same screen design. The J2 also puts less pulp in the juice, and has a longer warranty, plus Nama has better customer service than Hurom, IMO.

Every juicer can make some noise when it is juicing. It is just part of the juicing process. This juicer is on the more "quiet" side of juicers.

I can't decide between the j2 or green star elite. How do they compare in yield and durability?

In yield, in most cases the green star elite will yield more. Durability That is more difficult, since the green star elite has a long track record, and is a solid machine. The J2 has only been out a little over a year. I feel it will be about as durable as the green star elite in the long run. The J2 has a 15 yr warranty and the green star elite has a 12 yr warranty.

I dont try to juice corn cobs in the J2 (after I made the video) if you want to do it: 1. get fresh corn cobs (not old ones) -they are easier to process. Juice the same day you buy them. 2. precut into smaller pieces.

Some clarifications: the juicer juices too fast for women to do their hair or makeup before the batch is juiced. A more realistic thing to do while it’s juicing is to put away some dishes or tidy the kitchen. I normally clean up my prep space while it’s running. Also, Nama needs to make one of those strainer cleaner devices similar to kuvings
