I like how you treat them with such love and care :) While I was doing my environmental science internship (we were doing tree counts and taking samples in a heavily contaminated forest area) we found four beehive boxes like yours. We don't know if it belonged to a person in the community next to the forest, or if they even had a permit to keep bees, but it was certainly strange to find them in the middle of the forest. There were a lot of bees flying in and out of them, busy at work, so I guess they were fine. None of us were experts on bees, so we couldn't do anything about it anyway.

The most deadly of all the bee brood diseases. It is so deadly, in fact; that many State Apiary Inspectors require a hive infected with AFB to be burned, due to the damage it can cause to bees over the next 40 years or so.

If u just want honey in the super, put a queen excluder between the brood and the super. This stops the queen laying eggs above the brood. Love the bee vids btw.

MY father also uses this metod for feeding the bees,he just uses plastic bottles 2l and he also makes few holes.. with that bottle u dont have to feed it a lot,u just put 2L of sirup and u're good :)
