My theory for the sister's is that they are dragons in human disguises but they were originally humans turned slayers turned dragons It's the best way I can see Ignia raising a powerful army but an army he can control since I have a feeling they're all heat/fire based

@@TheGreekWeeb If those horns the Signario sisters have are real and not just for decoration, they could be pseudo Dragon Eaters. Maybe Ignia shared some of his power with them by having them drink some of his blood, resulting in them growing those horns. This could be what Ignia's plan to bring back dragons actually entails. What if his plan isn't to bring dead dragons back to life, but make to make new dragons by dragonifying humans? His eventual goal could be the mass dragonification of humanity. It really will be an age of dragons if all the humans just turn into dragons.

I’m still super salty that Gajeel wasn’t in this arc. Even Sabertooth, who replaced Gajeel and Laxus didn’t even do anything. I thought maybe there’s a reason Sabertooth got priority over Gajeel. Nope, Sabertooth is useless in this arc and do nothing of value. The exceeds could’ve done their miscellaneous quest to find the philosopher’s stone. Nothing special about two dragon slayers being added into a dragon god fight despite Erza hyping them up.

Viernes was such a cool character its a shame they didnt so anything with him. They didnt say anything about who he is or what hes goal is. They just one shot him and didnt even let the man talk. Really disappointing. Hoping they take their time with ignia and give him and his minions proper fights. I also wanna see some emotional moments because 100yq lacks that so far.

I liked this arc lol. Also the Signario sisters gave me an explanation to Serena saying he's weaker than them. I assume Duke revived him because of his dragon slaying abilities. Duke is weak but Athena is in his palm so God Serena would say he's on another level ofc. Together they fought the Signario sisters at full power and won, controlling their minds and weakening them. Just a theory though. Overall this arc was hype. Just wish Erza utilized her armor more side characters were used more.

I'm pretty disappointed with Viernes. Even Aldoron, who at least fought against Acnologia in the past and managed to survive, looks better that Viernes now. There is no explanation of why Viernes lost his physical body in the first place. At the end, Viernes feel like an average NPC boss. One more thing is that why not any of the dragon gods (other than Dogramag) bothers to find and kill Elefseria decades ago??? I mean, if there is a dude out there keeps hiring mages to attack you for 100 years, wouldn't you want to finish that dude off for good? Yeah, the dragon gods are pretty arrogant. Perhaps, they don't even think Elefseria as a threat, but if there is an insect that keep annoying them, why did they have to tolerate it??? This is why i have some hope for Ignia. Ignia could be a serious threat if he plays the right card. I envision a situation like this in my head-canon. In the next chapter, Ignia will act like "That's it. I'm tired of you, Elefseria". After that, Ignia flies to the Magia Dragon guild and burns down the place. Then, he brutally kills Elefseria by punching a hole through his chest. Athena tries to stop him, but he incinerates her from the inside out. Ignia looks at the tablet that shows the dragon gods's status and smirks before burning it down. After that, with Elefseria and Athena's heads in his hands, he uses fire teleportation magic to teleport himself to Natsu's group. Natsu's group is on their way to find the Fire god castle then suddenly, a pillar of flame appears out of nowhere before them. Ignia appears from inside it. He throws Elefseria and Athena's heads toward them. The Fairy Tail mages look in horror. Natsu boils with anger and Lucy breaks down in tear over Athena's charred head. Ignia glares at them with immense murder intent, makes the whole group freeze on their spot. "What's the matter, mages? You guys want to mess with me first. Don't say that you aren't prepared to die like this?". Natsu grinds his teeth. "Well, never mind. This is my punishment for the idiot Elefseria and a warning for you all. Think two, no, think three times before messing with me. I don't know how the other dragon gods do it, but I ain't toying with my enemies. If you guys get in my way, please don't be surprised when i pay your Magnolia town a fiery visit." Ka bump. An explosion happens on Ignia's spot and he vanished, leaving the Fairy Tail mages speechless. End of chapter.

Imma be blunt the cast is NOT READY.They NEED a SERIOUS power up Ignia has been built up and is most likely the STRONGEST dragon god actually its not even close considering viernes disappointing performance(natsu fodder i thought he would be rlly strong but nah) its not looking good and the fact that ignia will have servants and a whole castle its not gonna be a fight its gonna be a raid and the cast is NO WHERE NEAR strong enough so im hoping we get a small training arc or something adjacent to that cuz if they go in with their current strength and win it will just feel like cheap power of friendship and the series alrdy got allegations on that.I just hope the author does it right

Sure it was in a few but not it many. It was mostly just talked but there werent many moments were they actually powered up due to it.

Predicting it now. Ignia plan is to revive Igneel and the dragons race. By the end, Natsu will defeat Ignia with he friendship speech. Natsu END will just be Natsu with horns. Gray will learn the ability to spam ice shelled without dieing. Igneel and the dragons will come back. Ignia and Natsu will become best buddies. The whole world would be at peace with dragons.

Alverez didn't live up & everybody went home happy. I will need to see it to believe it that this Arc will he epic.
