You've always mentioned the sleeper needed updating in your old videos. Good job

Thank you, it was pretty time consuming project this one

Have you thought about painting them with Bitumen or similar protection to prolong the life?

Thank you. Sleepers around the lawn are great, but they take a lot of effort to get right and are heavy to work with. Although we were filming too I spent the best part of two days (and 2 men) to replace the 3 sleepers. If you're doing it for a client, I would think about a day rate rather than a quote

Why do you put gravel underneath the sleepers? Drainage and leveling?
@Premier_lawns_official9 ай бұрын
It helps stop them stinking 👍

Good job Robbie, i noticed that there is a drop from the top of the sleeper to the earth in the border, is that so the lawn can drain? I need to do this to my lawn this year so this video is dead helpful👍 Kev

Why do you use wood for that. Aound here most use Concrete stones or natural stones around the yard.

Personal choice really

You could have considered tarring the subterranean parts of the sleepers to help prevent rotting.

The other sleepers were in there for 25 plus years. Probably see out the time I will be in the garden
