365 days I crewed on sailboats from San Diego, USA all the way down to Panama, stopping in Mexico and Costa Rica. After Panama crossing the Pacific Ocean to New Zealand stopping at islands like the Marquesas Islands, French Polynesia, Tonga and Fiji
45 days I traveled through New Zealand from the Northernmost point to the Southernmost point, then
100 days I traveled by motorbike through Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia, then
365 days I traveled in my self-built campervan from Kyrgyzstan to Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan, then
365 days I traveled with this van through Iran and Pakistan, then
180 days I built an off-grid log cabin in the woods in Spain, then
180 days I restored an old sailboat in Guatemala, then
365 days I traveled with this sailboat from Guatemala to Honduras, Cuba, Jamaica, Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Grenada and more islands in the East Caribbean

Beautiful place when you take the time as you did to explore. Perhaps it's an expensive place, but you are finding ways to live wonderfully. The expression is "Champagne living on a beer budget." I think you should be more detailed about the scenic spots and places you visit. The videos were filmed quickly but lacked emphasis to excite viewers. Spending too much effort moving to many places will tire your companion. I think you need to reflect. Thank you for your videos.🙂🙂🙂

Thanks for taking us around St. Lucia. Marigot Bay is a Moorings Base and one of the locations of the previous Moorings Resorts. Marigot Bay is also a filming location for the original Dr. Dolittle movie. My last trip there was 35 years ago. Keep finding ways to have fun. It’s great to watch.

We loved St Lucia. It’s really grown up since we were there. Also, you mentioned weather routing, when we were thare the ONLY weather info you got was from the cruisers vhf nets. And it was pretty sketchy at best. So other than tropical systems we never worried much about it. We just went. Ha ha. (We did have a pretty stout 44’ cutter). We did enjoy St Vincent and traveled inland by local transportation. There is a safety concern that St Vincent has over other islands. The anchorage that we used got so bad that we stopped going there, instead anchored in the beautiful Admiralty Bay in Bequi and took the ferry across to Kisgstown.

Fine example of just doing it . These days we think we can not unless there is a water maker , washing machine on your 45 foot cat with 110 to run the coffee maker and toaster . Not true . As a kid I sailed many miles cruising with my father with no chartplotter , no way to charge the one battery , lantern , no refrigeration . It was paradise , for starters not much to break .

The highlight this week is the St. Lucia bikini. That will merit a PayPal donation. I also enjoyed the tour of the botanical garden. I am old so I doubt I could adapt to driving on the wrong side of the road. The island is beautiful, as are you two.
