Im glad you are NOT a doctor They work for the big pharma companies Instead people like yourself and many others work for the people’s well-being This planet was set up with all what we needed to thrive The more I dig into herbalism myself the more I understand that. And how marvellous each plant is, often having many uses Big fan of nettles although firstly year collecting seeds, got three massive drying racks and that’s just only a touch in the garden Nature is supporting until is our time to reincarnate somewhere else Many thanks for this video ❤

Thank you so much. And you’re so right about nature I grow many “wild” edibles and medicinals in my garden by harvesting seeds and spreading the seeds. From echinacea for immune boosting to valerian for mental well being. I developed a horrible chest infection and cough earlier this year and out of nowhere coltfoot and a giant mullein plant popped up in my garden which I use to ease the symptoms As it’s their first year the mullein should not have flowered but when my daughter got an ear infection which didn’t ease after a week of antibiotics then 5 huge spears of flowers appeared. So I made an oil infusion with the flowers. And her ear infection was gone in 2 days. 🥰. I’m doing a video on the oil and tincture today 🥰. Thank you again for the kind words and keep researching

Pleasure lovely. I did notice this info was omitted from most of the info I’ve come across But it’s quite an important one to know. I only came across it as I use nettles a lot in my cooking We have someone who suffers from kidney stones and calcium absorption issues. So I did thorough research first Happy foraging

Wish I saw this before going picking. Thumb & finger still throbbing a day after. Tried pulling seeds off the stem straight away & not dry. Serves me right for looking at an Instagram vid instead of proper research 🤦♂️.

Ooh ouch. Bless ya but we have all been there 🤦 if there are any nettles that are not seeding., try making a tea with a few of the tips. The internal antihistamine effects seem to work quicker than a topical application of plantain or doc I always double check anything o see on instagram 🤣

Hi Thanks so much for the nice video. Could you explain more about using wine with them.... maybe even in another video :) I'd never heard of that! Heard of vodka and even vinegar but never wine! I get Port Wine really easy where I'm at :)
@theherbothecarynaturalheal3182 жыл бұрын
I will definitely do a video on it this week. It basically boils down to water, alcohol or oil soluble aspects of the plant. So we usually cover all bases Although usually a vodka is used. I prefer a decent wine for both taste and efficacy

Thanks for sharing I didn’t know you can eat the seeds are there any that you recommend to buy ?
@theherbothecarynaturalheal318 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the feedback. It’s good to know there’s people out there it’s helping So far as purchasing, I found it hard to find a supplier of acceptable quality or price. Much easier to find a suitable site where they grow (no chemicals or pets spraying) and harvest my own if you’d like to contact me on Facebook “Carly furlonger”. Il happily send you some till you’re able to harvest your own. I grow them at home now so I can control their environment

So you put the seeds in the capsules?
@theherbothecarynaturalheal3182 жыл бұрын
Yep. I get them off amazon. Il add the link. All the excess gets hidden in smoothies. Yoghurts and dinners
Do nettle seeds increase testosterone or affect estrogen? I want to be careful with possible hormone affects.
@theherbothecarynaturalheal318 Жыл бұрын
I believe the root has been used to help with impotence but not sure about estrogen. However if pregnant. Or trying I alway advise caution
@kittychan36453 жыл бұрын
OK, so did you say don’t eat the nettles after they have started seeding?
@theherbothecarynaturalheal3183 жыл бұрын
Don’t eat the leaves once they’ve started seeding. I have 2 patches in my garden. One I allow to go to seed and the other I mow back every couple of weeks so new shoots grow and I can harvest the Young tips Hope this answers your question

How much should we consume a day?

I pop a teaspoon (5ml one) in a litre green smoothie and drink throughout the morning Advice says anything over 30g or taking after 4pm is likely to keep you up all night. It is a potent stimulant. But a spoon full daily works for me
