Welcome to Dublin rated as Ireland's most dangerous place, saying that it's pretty safe the chances of you having any issues are slim to none! Just be cautions if you go near Tallaght, Ballymun or Finglas do not go near those areas at night! Enjoy the city centre there are some amazing places to eat, sights to see, please visit Temple Bar it's a must when in Dublin!

Hi you two, new subscriber here. Just wanted to pop by quickly and say how genuinely lovely the two of you seem. Very down to earth and your videos are really informative. And it’s clear that you are both absolutely crazy about each other. Proper relationship goals. Good luck with continuing to grow the channel. I’ll be here watching.

Last week, in Powerscourt gardens, I collected someone’s garbage to put in a bin. There was none found until we got back to the main house.

Yeah it’s a real shame as it doesn’t encourage the lazy ones to dispose of it responsibly 🫣

That sunrise was stunning. I'd have been in for a skinny dip. Bet you were too and just kept it private. Maybe the lack of bins was to prevent bombs but I'd guess that's more a NI and England thing. That's why there's no bins in train stations until very recently when they started reinstalling the bin frames with clear bin bags.
@highlands2hammocks2 жыл бұрын

The tolls are a nuisance but compared to other European countries they are almost trivial, also it's quite easy avoid them, the exception being the M50 toll. Another great video from you, well done.

We have not visited Ireland since about 1980. and we are told just about everything is so expensive now from food to petrol,is this so or is it vastly exaggerated we have just found you two on youtube and loving your video,s so thanks ,
@aidenquinn86102 жыл бұрын
Here there should be more bins , the bins that are here have those small holes to stop people putting large or medium bags in them , filling them quick!! We bring our rubbish home with us , well most do not everyone does unfortunately!! People are at the councils to put more bins out but it’s yet to happen, it’s not a good look but they don’t listen
@highlands2hammocks2 жыл бұрын
Yeah it’s a sad thing as all it results in is more littering unfortunately 😕

The councils here are full of office staff these days and have very few “operatives” any more to actually do stuff. So there’s not enough bins and few toilets. The very basics of what you would expect them to provide is, seemingly, beyond them.
@highlands2hammocks2 жыл бұрын
Yeah it’s a shame! A lot less littering if there was more places to out it

Bin collection is private and has a fee to users and it is deliberate that municipal bin provision is scant because people would put their domestic rubbish in them rather than pay like everyone else. Yes you are supposed to take your rubbish 'home' with you but it doesn't facilitate people in campervans. It's not fair to put the burden of rubbish on a private business such as a shop or campsites where they are charged big fees and also per weight. You can go to a council amenity site and some might be free for tourists and some might charge a small fee.
@highlands2hammocks2 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately that is the way the system is set up, it just doesn’t work though. If you want people to do the right thing then the right thing needs to be the easiest thing. Ljubljana was the cleanest city I have ever seen and it was because there was a bin ever 200m 😊
@tambrand72942 жыл бұрын
Yep the lack of bins and dog poo bins is a challenge. The amount of signs I've seen saying not to litter and to pick up after your dog is unreal but no bins. I have 3 dogs ... I'm genuinely surprised there isn't litter everywhere
