100% agree with this for a cross-country move! I would get estimates and check reviews, though. Our movers sucked (they did such a bad packing job), so for this next move, I am packing myself and just getting the movers for actual transport.

We ended up waiting a month for our stuff and also it was dropped off 3 hours away from us and I had to drive 3 hours to release it with my 11 month old baby. The other moving co was furious for me when I showed up with a baby on my back and covered in barf.

Girl pay for packers. Packing with a toddler is a nightmare for everyone, just pack what you need for a few days, make the trip, and hang with family or do a mini vacation or whatever while the packers pack and move all your stuff. It’s so worth the cost.

Good day I’m new to your channel. I didn’t hear about your daughters father going to ATL with you. I coparent with my daughter’s father. When my mom passed away I moved out of state back to hometown. Things didn’t work out with employer there and we came back here wa state. Wa state is a beautiful state purchased property here. My daughter’s father and her brothers niece and nephew are here is why I stayed. Long story short live where your daughter’s father lives. We don’t hear about sacrificing enough for our children. I was the idiot for not settling down with her father. Respectfully sharing. My employer relocated me from LA and saw your caption. There’s good and bad parts to LA. Family owns property there. Yes! I’m a Chicagoan born and raised, a very very liberal (sometimes too liberal) town lol and I can’t imagine living in Georgia with the GOP nonsense. A lot of the southern cities: ATL, Austin Texas, Houston, etc have good bones (jobs food housing low costs) but if it weren’t for their political leaders, I’d move to ATL or Austin Texas in a heartbeat.

I enjoyed this video. I follow you on Instagram so I knew you were leaving L. A. for Atlanta. I loved your watching your NYC videos and while I liked the ones from L. A., it was definitely a different vibe (not in a bad way). I've had dreams of living in both cities and now I might just be happy living abroad again (leaving the U. S. for good). Anyway, I can't wait to watch your ATL videos. I think it would suck for me if I lived several years in a city but it seemed like one long "trip." Sometimes you just don't connect or vibe with the new place. I noticed the Berkey filter @ 8:39 and I was like "oh my gosh that's a Berkey lol." I just got one a little less than 2 months ago after wanting one for quite some time and I loved the filtered water I get from it and it's much better and more cost economical than my old Pur Water Filter pitcher. I just moved in November, and Atlanta was one of the cities on the short list. I really love Atlanta, but decided to move to Asheville, NC instead. There are so many great cities, it can be hard to choose! Edit: We have a similar build, and I do the same thing when wearing yoga pants. I wish I was a witch so I could zap the creeps!

LA is such a melting pot of crap lol. I know I lived by there. Terrible pollution and very expensive. Everybody seems to be trying to compete with one another to get to the top whatever the top is so very happy for you to be free of that soon! The weather is great though ;)

I think people should move to Inland areas of Southern California and not LA if they are interested in this area. There are some nice suburban communities where people are more neighborly. LA was always too fast paced for me.

We spent a year trying out California (San Francisco in our case) and moved back east too. It wasn't for us and I hated being so far from family. Good luck! You're going to love it. It's really hard to live in CA.

This my first video back in 3ish years. I tried going vegan but I didn’t have enough energy. I was packing in enough macros and nutrients. Im back for round two to try. I don’t each red meat, I hardly eat chicken, don’t drink milk etc. It’s fish , eggs and butter that I eat. It took me a while to find your channel, so happy I did! Hope the move went well. You're inspiring me right now because you're so chill about this big move. I'm from the east coast (Maine) and moved to Oregon 4 months before Covid hit. Spent the last year in a new city and not being able to really explore or enjoy it, haven't made any new friends or been able to see coworkers, all the while missing home and family. So we're planning to move back to the east coast (were actually going to try someplace new and go to North Carolina, because my mom lives there so it will feel like a new adventure with a piece of home and family close by). And I am such a worry wart, we are planning to move in 3 months and I'm stressing about all the small things like getting rid of all of the stuff we've accumulated. I know you're probably feeling the weight of all that needs to be done, but it can be done! We will both get back to the east!! Covid was a crazy time to try and adjust to a place that just isn't home to us. And even with the stress of figuring out a cross-country move, it feels like a weight is lifted just by committing to the decision to make a change. 💚 good luck on the move and thanks for the good vibes your videos always bring! 🥰
