One phrase you did not use... "Self sustaining fire". These batteries not only have the fuel for the fire but the chemical degradation produces it's own oxygen. Basically a fire you cannot put out considering the location and enclosed nature of the battery pack. You mentioned the toxic fumes, and it's important to know the fumes are not like a regular fuel and vehicle material fire. The fumes have metal fumes that are very toxic in comparison and most likely any inhalation would result in permanent disability. Even ash landing on your skin can be very toxic with extraordinary potential for injury!
@peteloomis8456 Жыл бұрын
Those batteries are like magnesium when it catches on fire because it burns hot and can burn right through cement and the only way to stop it is to smother it out by depleting oxygen to it . I used to work in a aluminum die cast foundry where we also used zinc and magnesium for parts that were being made and we had a few magnesium fires and they aren't easy to put out compared to a aluminum that's spilled at 1,200 degrees on a cement floor where it will either crack the cement if it's not thick enough or it will just cool off and harden to where it can be broken up with a shovel and shoveled up and basically thrown back into the remelt furnace but with magnesium it has to be completely smothered with sand to take the oxygen away because water won't stop it and if it's not deprived of oxygen it will literally burn right through the cement floor and keep burning .

Tony, I’m a missionary in Ghana, West Africa. There is a reason that they are asking on airline flights that they are now asking if any of the devices you are carrying in your bag has Lithium Ion batteries. I have a wind turbine and solar panels to help with power generation when power goes off (very often). I cannot ship lithium ion batteries from the US to here. Why? Fire hazard. You have nailed it. I am sending this video to my loved ones to inform them. I’m joining this fight with you to influence those within my scope of influence. The problem we face is that these climate warriors have made this their religion. They are totally closed to the true science about everything to do with climate. The fact is co2 is on the low end of the spectrum of photosynthesis being able to take place. That is why greenhouse operators are pumping co2 into their houses to enhance plant growth. Plants breath co2 like we breath oxygen. Our power grid is probably at least a hundred years from being able to handle the load of charging the number of vehicles the government are pushing forward by 2035. Instead of us developing nuclear power generation which is one of the cleanest sources of fuel these idiots oppose that for wind and solar that is destroying vast parts of the world for the rare earth minerals used to make these batteries that are spontaneously bursting into flames. Common sense has gone out the window.
@minigunner1218 Жыл бұрын
The irony with pro-EV activists being against nuclear is that lithium-ion batteries and nuclear reactors operate under the same principle: the controlled release of energy from an element/compound that really wants to release it all at once. Nuclear's had decades of research and safety improvements, yet is still treated as dangerous and dirty; meanwhile li-ion batteries are being churned out like covid vaccines and any evidence of them not being as safe as they're touted to be is thrown out as misinformation.

One of the things you could get away with back then was to 'burn them out' in order to have metal only for a better price when weighing them in. We did this in the same concrete slab for over 10 years, hundreds and hundreds of cars and, when we washed the concrete down every now and then, there were NO DAMAGE to the concrete, even after all those years. The reason, a burning car doesn't create enough heat. Now, take one humungous EV battery cooking off, VENTING DOWNWARDS and there you have it. The perfect scenario to what we witnessed on the video.

Others agree with you Uncle Tony, and so do I. you can clearly see that under the left side of that Range Rover, from the intensity and colour of that fire, it's neither diesel or petrol involved. I remember a few years back, at Silverstone at the start of the battery experiments, an LMP1 racecar pulled over on fire. the fire just built and built as one fire truck after another sped to it but had no effect. the race was neutralised for a considerable time. Much later in the day, we caught a look at the remains of the car and the damage and devastation was like nothing we'd ever seen. And they want everyone to be riding about in these fire bombs!! I think it should be rather obvious that it was a hybrid fire. Like UT says, gasoline does not spontaneously combust. Maybe a wire inside the gas tank running to the fuel pump shorted or something. Problem, gas doesn't burn hot enough to damage concrete. How about diesel? Problem is, diesel either requires extreme heat or compression to ignite, so a little spark in the fuel tank wouldn't do it. With gasoline being unable to spontaneously combust and diesel being even more difficult to light off by accident than gasoline, the sheer discrepancy in the amount of heat and violence of the fire, anyone with more than one brain cell should be able to say "ok that's neither a gas nor a diesel fire, hydrogen vehicles would go up rather violently but are a rare gimmick, nuclear vehicles didn't make it beyond a concept, bicycles aren't themselves combustible and do not carry combustibles other than the rubber tires and plastic trim, which require an open flame to ignite, clearly it's either a hybrid or EV fire." But unfortunately people are so blinded by the promise of EV shills that they won't think. They'll only follow blindly.

I have been an industrial electrician for over 40 years. I am very familiar with electric motor drives. Now that I am retired I play with cars. In my opinion electric drive technology for automobiles in mass production is being pushed on us way to quickly. Current technology that we have is not ready for it. Be it battery technology or electronic controls that power the vehicles, it is just not ready to compete against traditional gasoline or diesel powered vehicles. You are spot on Tony about us being lied to. There are so many reasons why battery powered vehicles are a bad idea. For some reason liberal governments are pushing hard for it. Why? Electric vehicles do not benefit the environment in any way when initial battery production and and end of life disposal are factored in. EVs are actually slightly less bad for the environment than gasoline cars *after 7~ years of ownership* but if people start treating cars like they treat phones (which they do), they'll get a new car every few years. Which is incredibly wasteful and much worse for the environment than if they had just maintained their old gas powered vehicle. Some people buy an EV so they can have a "moral high ground" over us simpletons, it makes them feel better about themselves while simultaneously putting everyone else down. Those people don't really like to use their brains all that much, they just want the latest and greatest thing that's trending. I wouldn't call it "propaganda" I'd call it marketing. Here’s one for you, I used to drive a garbage truck. The company has safety policy in place in the event someone had thrown a lithium battery in the garbage, got crushed by the compactor mechanism, causing a fire. We the driver were to call the fire dept and notify them , drive to an pre determined site to “dump” the contents of truck that are on fire. Now recognize that as soon as we dump the truck contend they will get oxygen. Whoosh! Everyone involved needs special training and equipment to deal with this situation.

Deliberately lying is not the same as being compelled into silence. There are many ways firefighters can be pressured, I'll bet... Might be better off looking for Coroners' inquests, if anybody gets killed by an EV fire it'd be awkward to cover it up.

They didn't actually lie, they have been told by the spooks I e. Security services of each country just to not tell the whole truth. The EV is worth billions. Manufacturers have invested their entire company's future on EV's and lost. The UK has abandoned plans to ditch the sale of new Ice cars from 2030, compelling everyone to go down the EV route. Other countries are looking to follow suit. Even the very dodgy UK Government have woken up and smelt the coffee and realised that EV'S are explosive shit boxes driven by boring I.T professionals called Rupert, Jordan or Tristham, who are all in their 40's eat vegan sausage rolls and still live with their moms. EV's like their reputations are getting smoked every day😂😂😂😂

The chief fire officer of Bedfordshire lied when he claimed the cause of the Luton Airport fire was a diesel vehicle. But as we've seen in the last three almost 4 years , if there's a narrative which is being pushed and promoted by all the apparatus of the state it doesn't matter if you're telling the truth or not, as long as you don't challenge that narrative. You'll be attacked , ostracised, ridiculed and outcast if you do, even your livelihood will be at stake. Very few are willing to risk that, or have the moral fortitude to stand up to such coercion.

Please make sure people know that it is our own US corrupt sociopaths directing all of this! They created and direct the WEF, they direct the WHO, their embezzling scam built Blackrock and Vanguard, etc, but they always pretend they are NOT in charge! And our two criminal gangs in power have signed on to the WHO treaty, and pretend for now that they won't really do what they are "told". HA! Learn their massive embezzling scam so we can dismantle their matrix of lies and end their evil reign - they are money ADDICTS who are totally derelict in their duty and unfit to govern! Henry Ford said that there would be "revolution before tomorrow morning" if the people know how the money system actually worked; that is because the corrupt sociopaths in power know that government money can be issued IN ANY AMOUNT for anything that is physically possible, and they have arranged scams for decades to EMBEZZLE that money! The major embezzling scam is "privatization", where they pretend they will run something better than the government and "like a business", but this scam is designed so they can bill the government ANY AMOUNT, providing massive exec salaries and insanely high profits. Wall Street firms fall over each other to invest - so do most Congress (or Parliament) members - when these entities are put on the stock market, because they know that profits are guaranteed via fiat government money. They all know that government money is NOT OUR TAXES, and that countries that issue their own currency do NOT have an actual "national debt" that the liars love to fearmonger us about, etc. We need to know what they want kept hidden from us. The US has been taking over countries since WW2 to do this embezzling scam and has built a corruption cartel of many lapdog countries. They took over the UK, Australia, Canada and NZ in the 70s-80s, and the embezzling done by taking over so many government-funded systems services and assets - especially in the UK, the list is shockingly long - is what gave rise to the billionaire class in the 80s! The liars demonize any leader who does not submit, to manipulate public opinion so we go along with the coups, invasions, assassinations, etc. The US also directs the WEF and the WHO; and created monolithic entities like Blackrock, Vanguard and others that got so big by participating in the embezzling globally. We need to see the BS and FIGHT the lunatic money addicts and their inhumanity. They lie us into wars & then embezzle most of the war money through "privatized" war companies, incarcerate people to enrich themselves via "privatized" prisons. "Privatized" healthcare enriches insurance companies and related companies & investors, another corruption scam where they get torrents of government money but do NOT spend it on the healthcare people need. Vax companies and the digital ID systems to subjugate us are also privatized! So are all the entities to track and control us that the liars pretend are to "help the climate": social credit, ESG, carbon tracking, digital bank currency, 15-minute cities and more. The scheme was to get TRILLIONS from many governments FOREVER while ensuring we could not rise up to stop their corruption, tyranny and inhumanity. (Pretending there is not enough energy, oil, food is how they will try to force us to get those digital IDs - they will say it is so we can get our "rations" and UBI etc to try to survive.) This electronic prison to subjugate is being finalized, so time is running short for us to expose them and stop their plans for us. They use cloaking terms like "private" prisons, "for profit" healthcare, "public-private partnerships", etc, because they know that there is public backlash against privatization; we should always push back and use the CORRECT term when they do this. Currently, public education is being privatized by calling it "school choice" and "charter schools". The lunatic money addicts in power lie, destroy and KILL for more "money fixes". They are totally derelict in their duty and UNFIT TO GOVERN and should face charges of dereliction of duty, violating the Constitution, embezzling federal money, crimes against humanity, violating the Nuremberg code, war crimes and more.

I would have no problem debating Tony. I don't even own an EV, nor do I believe in anthropogenic climate change. I did own a hybrid until last year but lost it in a collision with another vehicle. My switch back to an ICE car was due to selection and economics in the current market, but I would rather have returned to a hybrid or EV. Here is why I don't like this video. For every one lithium battery fire in an EV, there are 20 fires in an ICE car, based on data I was able to find. And while the fatality rate may not be 20-fold greater, I find it hard to believe that ICE fires aren't linked to more deaths than EV fires. Where in this video does Tony make mention of this fact and give a balanced overview? He doesn't. His wild-eyed rant is like something I would expect from some 15 year old sobbing about his favorite pronoun on TikTok.

I've seen some of those electric dirt bikes that are pushing 70mph capability. The acceleration is insane so they are drawing the attention of thrillseekers. Saw one guy who had a new one that he had just bought and took it for a spin. He was really getting it up and moving. He was riding in an area with lots of trees so it wasn't in the middle of a city, but there was some traffic. He approached an intersection with a 4 way stop. As he's waiting his turn, the bike starts making a hissing sound and starts to bellow smoke. He just gets it off the road and it ignites into a runaway fire. He has no choice but to just sit there and watch it burn to the ground.
@johnscott5435 Жыл бұрын
@treelineresearch3387 I understand the concerns. I just never leave the batteries unattended when charging, and never leave it on the charger for longer than necessary. The problem with leaving outdoors is that the batteries don't like heat or cold and you especially don't want them to get wet.

Yep. And did you know that for at least 20 yrs now, many if not most of the commercial passenger jets have technology secretly installed in them that has the ability to take total control of the aircraft out of the hands of the pilots? It's true. Some unknown entity from God knows where can suddenly take control of the commercial pilot's aircraft against his will, and fly it anywhere they so chose. It also interferes with all communication with ground control and other aircraft. A retired Air Force Colonel ( sorry I forget his name ) years ago gave seminars & interviews all over, proving it by producing the top-secret documentation that shows the technology and how it must be kept secret from the flight industry. This explains those handful of flights carrying certain V.I.P's that mysteriously "disappeared" during flight and has never been recovered. But of course it never made the news by the corrupt mainstream media.
