Well, we’ve not met a single time traveler and there hasn’t ever been a single one documented. Hawking even had a party thrown for any time traveler to come, and he even stated nobody to be there except for them. Nobody came. I don’t know if I’d say you can see the past, but time passes slower relative to a stationary observer. You yourself would notice no change in the pass of time, it wouldn’t be like moving in slow motion or anything. But a stationary observer would notice the fast moving person aging slower. Vice versa, the person moving fast would notice the stationary person aging more quickly. Say the person moving quickly aged 1 year, the stationary person could have aged 5 years, so it’s kinda like seeing into the past. Also it’s impossible for anything to move faster than the speed of light. Although the closer you get to the speed of light, the more dramatic this effect is.

So in our 2023 present, we could be 2050’s past and somebody in whatever year in the future could already have traveled to our present with a time machine and proofs about that. But it has not happened yet so we can accept the fact that it’s not possible in this way of thinking. BUT, there are many ways to interpret time-travelling (single time line directly affected by a change in the past or in the future, multiverse…)

Yes, today time travel is possible compared to 200 years ago. I can drink a bottle of wine with another person and watch the sunset and have a pleasant moment. I can then jump on a jet fly to the West Coast and relive that memory over again with the same person. This is the closest thing to time travel that we’ve had in our lives.

The thing about time travel is it would be impossible to arrive exactly where you left. For example, if you departed on Christmas 2022 to go back 6 months to June 25th 2022, you would find yourself on the opposite side of the sun in space. Of course, that's only if somehow you could do it Back to the future style. I'm sure somehow backwards time travel is possible for massless objects.

for everyone who does not know why. everything is rotating. if you rotate back you will also go back in time. buuuut. everthing need to go over the same rule. so everything is gonna rotate than you could use mathematiks to find a solituon because you already have the rules of lhysic and math. but if you dont have the rules you cant do math. for example if you calculate 1 - 3 = some people will tell you 0 some say error lile your cakculatoe but in Physiks you can use a new rule of complex numbers where you take "i" as -1. so you can go into negativ calculations. same you can use for time traveling but you need to find rule of all physics. if you cant find the rule which is everywhere the same you can not travel back in time. for time traveling its important to have a loop so you could go back. so if everything would rotate back it would work. but everything rotates but not the universe. it just grows without Rotation. thats why you cant go back in time but only the one standing always on the edge of the universe can see the history and past because of the late light which reaches the eye. this means, the universe wont forget anything, because somewhere its always the time now but it always moves as the universe grows.
