My daughter was born just before the first video I saw in this series. It was the cool floor insulation system you built. I got to watch progress every week as she grew in the NICU (born at 24 weeks gestation - 1 lb, 10.8 oz). Now she’s almost 13 months old, and healthy as can be! These videos were a welcome escape from the hospital setting for the five months we were there. I’ll never be able to truly express how thankful I am to you for that.

I’m in love with this guy. He knows what he is doing. I purchased a spec house in 1978 and there wasn’t a one board, joist or corner measured or secured properly. The electric boxes had no wires so no electricity and that is just the beginning. We had to tear most everything apart and redo the place. It took 15 years since we both worked. It was difficult to sell 3 years ago because so much of me was in it! I really enjoy your work!!

I can't add to the many well deserved kudos already expressed in the comments. That said, I'm compelled to make this comment myself. I myself am a card carrying member of the Lone Ranger club. Before I retired I even went out to sea alone to pocket a few extra bucks doing yacht deliveries. I hope, I sincerely hope while you were doing your spectacular work there was someone standing by with a box of Bandades. I did notice towards the end of your video, you had started useing a push stick with your tablesaw. I also noticed that at the end of the video you, (?) were sitting in a chair with a cup of coffee admiring your handy work. A well deserved cup of coffee. Thank you Sir.

We both are building off grid, we both started with raw land, we both have a Woodland Mills HM126 saw mill, we both built a cabin. My interior is done with the exception of the wood siding on the walls but in the next couple months that will be complete. I agree with you that while it was work it was fun work building in the woods on our property for guests to stay in when visiting us. I built it 12' x 24', big enough for a king size bed, couch with coffee table, dining table, propane heater. I enjoyed your video with my coffee this morning.

I thought this would be tedious to watch, but....NO! It was SO interesting! My X was a contractor, so I was familiar with a number of the products and processes in your video. My favorite two things: the wonky/wonderful small tree limbs that made up the "railing" for the loft and, especially, that you left all the walls unfinished. That very light wood is a wonderful contrast to the finishes put on the other areas and it also makes the inside seem more open and bright, too. Thanks a bunch!!🦌🦌

Wow!!! it is a life work of art and experienced just love it. though I dont build nor had build anything, I admire those that truly know their thing. watching these vids teaches, and encourage me to build my own house. I have a farm shed ( 22x12) that I want to turn it into a 4BD with a (22x9) decking that face the river.
