Mike and BJ, a lot of comments seem to sow discord, the thing God hates the most. The ones who need salvation believe in Christ, just listening to prosperity gospel keeping them blind. Paul laid out the protocol for a worship service for congregations of Christ.

@WLBarton4466 It's called rebuke. 2 Timothy 4:2 I do not believe in the prosperity gospel either. It does not save any more than the works gospel of the Church of Christ.

Each congregation is autonomous, and being such, you will have more evangelistic or less, more involved in the community or less. Try not to judge us all by the experience of a local congregation. If you don’t mind sharing, what is your specific reason for feeling this way?

Romans 4: 4 - Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. 5 - But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Trusting in the gospel of grace saves. Not the "plan of salvation" that the Church of Christ denomination teaches.

Romans 4 is talking about the old law. Grace is calvary. Obiedence to Christ's law, the law of liberty, is what we must do. Plain an simple

Ephesians 2: 8 - For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 - Not of works, lest any man should boast. The Church of Christ does not believe those verses.

To: Everyone who is making comments regarding error. Have yall took time to read the scriptures, that is being read or are yall basing your comments on what you already believe. We’re saved through Christ not of our own, we just choose to follow what God’s word says. Baptism is essential for salvation. Give some scriptures that back up what your denomination is???Can you find your “church” in the Bible??
