I am Iranian and a Zoroastrian. I have lived in the US for over 50 years (since I was 9) and have always maintained the main teachings of Zarathustra and tried to teach the same to my children. Good thoughts, Good words and Good deeds. The main pillars of our religion. But, It's sad to have my people persecuted and marginalized in their own country. Despite the three main religions borrowing heavily from Zoroastrianism, they do the most evil acts towards themselves and others. May someday people learn to respect others regardless of their religion, color, nationality, heritage, etc...

My Brother, may I ask you a question? Do you feel your nation was better off under the Shahs. The Shah of Iran in the 70s. While conservative extremist may have felt Iran was becoming too westernized, surely many aspects of this were better than what Iran has endured now, through the Ayatollahs? I'm not American My Brother, I'm just curious. Peace Be With You. My Best. Out.

@A R : What you need to do My Brother, is learn how the U.S. uses and manipulates other nations and peoples and use that against them. Killing Americans only, makes martyrs out of them, and actually, only, makes them stronger. @@2chatons384 : And as I say My Brother, you can call this your Mother Religion, as it were. Why would any proud Iranian who wishes to see your ancient past preserved, not protect and support this religion. This religion was ancient when Christianity was just, beginning and Islam was not yet, a thought in anyone's mind. I'm old enough to remember when the Shah ruled Iran, and as I remember things, you had a much better and far more progressive nation then. Too progressive for some, it seems, which is why he was deposed. Not sure if you wish for a return of your Monarchy or not, but I so, hope your nation can return to those days again.
