John thank you I’ve never seen anyone monitor ice growth before, I’ve been doing it for 30 years on our lake further up north and have found the same results at -10 to -20 cel with no or little snow cover, about an inch to an inch and 1/2 every 24 hours and one I hit about 10” it begins to slow thx again!!!!

So cool how you can hear the ice in the background, couchiching was making alot of noise today. Im guessing you don't have any info on kempenfelt bay? I'm interested in on how ice is forming there,
