Every relationship has conflict. Conflict can be a very good thing; but for those from Complex Trauma, conflict has always been a bad thing. It has only led to more pain. As a result, most have avoided conflict and don't have many healthy tools for resolving conflict. Two tools are explored in this talk - how to introduce conflict and how to respond when emotions escalate.

Awesome stuff. Just remember viewers, this only works with someone who actually cares..... none of this works with a narcissist 😔

Tim, I have listened to many many of these teachings, they've given me practical tools that I was unable to articulate that I needed. It's like the Lord uses you as a torch, guiding us into the light from the darkness of childhood trauma. If a child freezes and disassociates, the child does not learn phrases and ways to cope. The tools you dispense are gifts of new life. I have shared them with many other people. Thank you. God bless you.

Wow- what an excellent video! Thank you so much Tim 🙏 I have never done conflict well due to it always having been a very negative experience in my upbringing. As a result I learnt to keep quiet, avoid and people please- there was no possibility to have an opinion or express how I felt and as a consequence I did not develop the tools or language to use at these times, really impacting my adult relationships. Having these scripts are incredibly helpful and what I have always wanted. I think I’m going to have to memorise them just like a script with the hope that one day it might feel authentic! Thank you Tim. Your care, skill and compassion imbue your talks making them ‘land’ in a way that motivates. You are helping so many people with these videos.

Great video I know where they are coming from but I am not a big fan of the Philosophy that we aren’t going to sleep until we have worked this out. Who thinks clearly in the middle of the night. It also prevents people from walking away gaining a better perspective. I think what happens is the humbler person eventually apologizes whether they were in the wrong or not

I feel like when you do the trauma work, on a feeling level, of your family of origin issues, a lot of these problems take care of themselves. Just my opinion. When you do the deep grieving work on your primary feelings, at a profound level...these issues naturally disappear. A lot of them anyway

If someone punched me because they didn't like seeing my ugly face after they had a hard day at work, what part in that did I have to play that's important to outline?
