I would rather seen the acual cover being removed, glued and replaced than all the other stuff. Maybe I'll find another video fire that. This is going to be a weekend project with the removal of all this stuff.

For the timing cover is it a gasket maker silicone used ? are there preformed gaskets for this application ? I am going to do this same procedure on a duratec v6 2.5, thanks!

I attempted to do the same repair in my van, but i stopped because i realized it was going to take me longer than it took the guy in the video...

at 4;26 its skips but if you slowly guied the arrow thru the loading red line u can actually see him removing the cover
