If you can Tim. Buy both lots .... at a time in the future you will be glad you did. Neat concept for your home. That will be very nice. Just a future note/thought -- on your second lot (if you purchase) you could always use it for gardening. (Chickens also - NO rooster. Ha). Need to see the ocean? Build a little tower there that you can see the beach from. Also, would make a neat private hang-out place for yourself. If nothing else a good investment for the future. ($$). Congrats & hope your purchase will happen. It will give you a lot of happy projects to keep you busy. Ha. Congratulations on going over 100K subscriptions as well. The future is yours. Hey thanks Tim and Chrissy, good to see the town again as its been a while and the vacant property looks great. $20,000 USD is very cheap as in Melbourne you can expect to pay ~ $400,000 ($308000 USD) for 600 square meters in the outer Easter suburbs. The house design is also very modern and private. The idea of cooling the living area down stairs makes sense as the evening it cools down a little where the upstairs bedroom economically can then be cooled. Solar could also be considered Tim. I hope you go ahead with this as its very exciting and would also be great for your channel lol. Nothing like owning you own piece of paradise. Best wishes for 2021 to you both.

My recommendation as we have our house her in Perú .. You can make a big 10m3 Cistern underground / you can connect that directly to a pump so when you open the taps you get direct pressure, Secondly you can use your underground Cistern to feed the overhead tanks. The only thing with the overhead tanks you will generate little water pressure on gravity feed. Something to plan out before you break soil.

Upstairs, you good take advantage of sea breeze by window orientation & add air con later if really needed. curious about the software, really good!

what software were you using for the house build? I like the setup you have.. I put in a COM room for one location, to run cat6 cable to all the rooms and cable for the TV and internet central area, is solar an option in PI? For A/C we find the Japanese style A/C work great for specific type room/area, they do cold/heat and are humidifiers built in. How much is it to clear and grade the land? I don't know how well the power is in that area but might think of a backup generator if they have those in PI. Might think about outside flood lights that are solar.

I really like this video! Not sure why to lot is worth that much over on Leyte. I thought it was much cheaper there. I heard you say the beach was the other side of the house next to the lot so if that is the case I could understand some additional value to it. I like the house you have put together it looks nice and good thinking about conserving electricity! If I were you I would add a generator up on top and I would dig out the lot for a basement too, at least under the garage for your well and generator.to be located in a safe secure location, of course, make sure to run the exhaust out the side of the building after going thru mufflers to make it very quiet. Also, you could have your safe house area down there for typhoons and hurricanes etc., or away from robbers if you hide it well and secure it well. Just a couple extra thoughts! Good luck with it I hope something works out for both of you soon and you can start to build the rest of your life with your family there! Take care and God bless my friends! HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I like the concept. My only question is: why do you want the pool indoors? Why not put it in the yard? I've been to hotels that have the pool enclosed , but open to the sky. Your pool appears to also be open to the sky. Are bugs the reason for the indoor concept? Florida homes along the canals, e.g. Cape Coral, have the outdoor pool enclosed by screens to keep the bugs out. I'm very Happy for you and your family!
