Blue pea is a flower, the tea comes out blue and when you add lemon juice it turns purple 💜 so yummy!!! OMG soooo much lobster/seafood so amazing!!!! Everything looked SOOOOO freaking delicious! 🤤😍 you always eat at the best places!!! How much did that water cost anyway, btw?

I spent 2 months in Hanoi & never went to the JW Marritt! The buffet was certainly a special meal & at $65 it was at the very top-end of buffet prices in Hanoi! Well your paying for the name & view! Hanoi has a huge quantity of high-end restaurants at reasonable prices!

Blue (or butterfly) pea flower makes a blue drink. Adding gin or absinthe changes the colour of the drink to pink. It is native to Indonesia but is common in Thailand and Vietnam.

It is astounding the difference in costs in different countries. This is definitely inexpensive according to Western standards, but definitely pricey in Vietnam. All in all, it's definitely one of the best brunches I've seen 😀

Hi Tim, a big shout out to you.. based on this video, it actually motivated me to travel up to this place to try this Buffet. It was as awesome as you've mentioned but the price has gone up to 1,950k VND plus 13%service &VAT total Tax on top of that.... It's not cheap n I can see the crowd has reduced maybe due to the price. I did had a great time there, food was definitely satisfying n i wish i had a bigger tummy to fit more. 😊 Btw, i went straight to get the Beef wellington first hand so i don't miss out after watching yr video, it was a great tip...😂Thanks Tim for all yr buffet videos. That was the first time I saw a whole tuna and it was quite impressive to see the chefs at it. It actually took a little while to get used to those scooters but I think it's probably one of the best ways to travel 🙂

You look super cool riding the scooter. The JW Cafe in the JW Marriott Hotel by the lake has a awesome view. This seafood buffet does have more types of seafood. Vietnam has many Korean bbq restaurants. However, this buffet has an Indian food section not a Korean food section which is different. The beautiful cakes and other desserts are awesome. You are very fortunate to be having a wonderful time in Hanoi, and even riding a motorbike. Initially, I thought it was a scooter which is more for kids, haha 🤩

Hi Min, very grateful and humble to get to visit and meet all the great people here in Hanoi. The streets were certainly crazy, but I quickly got used to riding on those motorbikes. They are actually rideshares so there is a driver in front. There's no way I would have been able to navigate the streets in Vietnam 😅. Really enjoying the places here and hope you're keeping well 🙂
