I've been wanting to visit this amazing Lobster Buffet in Vegas for a while now, but was always difficult to plan given it's only available on Wednesdays and Thursdays. I will make the effort this time because this should the best Whole Lobster buffet in Vegas! I can't wait to check it out and "wait" is the operative word.
The Palms Casino and Hotel offers amazing value with this lobster buffet at $65 where you get all you can eat Whole Lobsters, Lobster Tails, and the Palms specialty Lobster Alfredo not to mention all the other seafood offerings and the luscious brisket and roast beef. And the way you can tell that it's great value is with the line that one needs to wait through! You may be able to gain some buffet advantages with the tips and tricks of the Pre-Purchase program, but either way, there is still a wait.
For me, it was 4+ hours and throughout that time, I got to meet many friendly faces and new friends as well. Just need to take this as part of the Vegas experience!

San Manuel casino in California is the owner of the Palms Casino and when they have sea food night, I'm in line at least 2 1/2 hours before it opens. When I leave, the line to wait is at least 3 hours long

You have great patience. I guess they are hoping that after waiting in such long lines, some people who have prepaid will give up and leave them with a big profit. Our state Department of Motor Vehicles used to have hours-long lines but instituted a number system so that you could take a number and the ticket would tell you when to return, and you could do other things while waiting. I would think that if you pre-paid, they could do the same thing and you would be able to get in within a relatively few minutes. Seeing all of those empty tables when you were seated, it seems to reinforce the idea that the delay is artificial.

Always love your videos. As I've grown older, my tolerance for crowds and long waits has declined. You've done some great videos of buffets in Los Angeles. Hi Tim, question..in videos ive seen in the past of this buffet they used to make you take a whole lobster even if you just wanted just a lobster tail. Do they not do that anymore? Palms started offering it on Wed and Thurs now. We went Aug 31st on a Thursday at 3:30pm. No lines. The lady said people don't know they offer it on Thursdays now so they don't have a waiting list check-in process for Thursday. Both Mom and Dad were new to Palms so they got some freeplay at the Players Card desk and we won $90 to put a dent on the price of the Buffets.

I'm not a fan of the melted butter with crab or lobster, but I really like to dip the crab or lobster in warm apricot or mango nectar. Have really enjoyed the buffet videos and the foods from other countries. Stay safe and travel well

I stepped away to film, the introduction and the good folks (moe , Victoria) were kind enough to hold my spot. Yes, I do pay for my meals and don’t accept freebies are comps. A great buffet as you reviewed for us all. Sure looks so delicious. As I live vicariously through your many adventures, I wanted more adventure from you today. I can always find fried chicken, but I wish you had also chosen some crab legs to review as well as the large-looking shrimp. Hi Tim, great review of Lobster Night at the AYCE Buffet. I’ve eaten there many times but never for Lobster Night. On a regular night I think it’s very moderate considering the quality. To me the star of the show on a regular night is the brisket. I think it’s better than Mabel’s across the casino floor. The smoke is intoxicating. I once saw, before lockdown, the BBQ crew describe the process. They all came back when it reopened. Wonderful. I think the Vegan section is thoughtful and tasty when I sampled. Obviously on a premium night, not going to be worth it for them if they are strict. Now, the DTM shout out! I’m excited for a collaboration The Lee Bros., Back Again In Vegas! Danny needs to take you to the LaLa restaurant run by Chef A.J. at Park MGM. They make quite a team when Danny visits and that would make for one great collaboration. Oh My Gosh! We sat in probably the exact same booth/table you filmed in, not long after The Palms re-opened about a year or so ago. It was a cool buffet with so much lobster. I was disappointed the lobster was not hot but we had a great time and prime rib also!! Yumm! We got the Palms Card and a free buffet within a couple days came with it (not the lobster buffet).

I was so hyped for this buffet as i love lobster. Queued for hours but when i actually got in, was pretty disappointed. Whilst the lobsters were plentiful, the actual quality of them was really poor - 90% of the lobsters i ate were completely overcooked and tasted like cardboard :(

Sorry about the fire and having to deal with it all. There are always delays with contractors, nature of the beast. My friend was having a house built and every Friday stopped by to check up and brought beer for the workers. Ha, ha. The lobster buffet looked grand but I'm not sure I could have done the 4 hour wait. Places always offer tails, what I want is a plate of claws.

Yada yada yada, everyone seems to love watching you gorge on fancy buffets! It does look so yummy. All those fancy things and you seem to know the name of it all. As I mentioned before, it would be nice if you could come back to Earth and go to some small Mom and Pop restaurants and share the excellent foods they have to offer and help support them in doing so! I'm surprised there are any lobsters left!
