What about swordsing his own creature? hed draw the cards underworld triggers go on the stack and still respond right?

Yes, and with all the buffs on the table plus pumping the knight once, could've gained 8.

Game 2 Earthquake for 1 acted like a Hymn To Tourach plus a Time Walk.

Brutal matchup for WW there. Just didnt get the right cards at the right times. Perhaps best thing was not seeing Gloom post sideboard

Armageddon pretty good in a format where you gotta pay points for Sol Ring and the family jewels.

As a predominantly black player, it’s always a good day seeing WW get taken out, and with the old UD/Twister finisher no less Lolol classic, it’s such a classic move we used to call that a “Ti__y Twister” lol I’ll let you figure out that word Lolol

I know that from our perspective everything is different, but....not disenchanting underworld dreams preferring icy was indeed a big misplay by the white mage. In the end there was a reason if dreams were restricted to 1 copy in the past, maybe Dominique didn't played that much against em

I think the WW player wanted to get damage with his creature as much as possible and thought he'd try to win the damage race, which at that board state he was winning. it's the main line of winning for a winnie player as you rely on your creature damage entirely.
