50 players battle for the title of Dutch X-points Champion of what is probably the biggest offline X-points Magic the Gathering event. After 5 rounds of extreme competition and casual beer drinking, we have reached the FINALS! In the mtg 93/94 X-points finals we see Emile with a Zoo deck taking on Johan with his Blue, Black and Red deck.

X-point Old School MTG
This match is played according to the X-points OS rules. That means that the format has a rule set, which is Atlantic; mana burn is real, 1 strip mine and FE is included and the format also has a points list. The points list is a list of cards that have points allocated to them. You can play with these cards, but you can only spend 10 points in total on these cards. For example, a mishra's factory is 1 point, so if you play a full play-set you use up 4 points and you have 6 points left. Game one missed city of brass. The psy blast could have killed the player instead of the pump knight.

Yes I was certain he was watching to see if he would tap the city and then psy blast him before combat damage. Oops.

I disagree on that wheel in game 1, he had him down to nothing on the board and a few hits with the hippy would have emptied his hand. I would have kept it in my hand until I needed it.

I also agree. Wheel is good in the right time. I feel like in that game, it got his opponent out of a bad situation. Don't spin the wheel when you are winning!

Funny. Chaos orb reads "any cards in play that it touches is destroyed when it lands" after the flip. So back in the 90s, we used to try to flip it onto an entire pile of lands destroying them all. Lol Thus, when chaos orb came into play. Everyone would spread out all their cards very far apart. Lol

Underworld Dreams was a card where the decision to put the card on the Restricted List before the card was legal for 4x Constructed. Despite being restricted and being only an uncommon card, it went up to $50 before Type II Standard was invented. The fact that all of these 94 formats allow multiple copies of these broken cards shows how far behind the current 1994 meta is.
