45/50 - not bad for me, considering I've never been to many of these cities. This video just goes to show how many cities use the Siemens S70 (both the LRV and streetcar version) on their rail lines. I always get the cities that use the older SD100s and SD160s confused, as they all look the same to me. You should do a version of this video but with commuter railroads!

@Muzakman373 жыл бұрын
Not familiar with these systems at all so went with foliage & flora (that helps a *lot* in placing the city in the right type of region), city planning/layouts, type of bricks, flat roof/sloped/tiled, what people are wearing, climate/weather, are there mtns in the background etc, proper detective work. Managed to nail a good few, but was disappointed when the tram had the city plastered across it lol. Great compilation Timosha, keep up the good work!

I was able to get most of the systems. The ones I had trouble with were mostly newer streetcar systems although telling Newark and Jersey City apart is tough as both use the same equipment and the same operator.

Well, 10/50. Mostly i could remember from vehicles used, for ex. Portland, Washington DC or Seattle because of Skoda and Inekon Trams. But tbh, Tucson's tram system hit me the most because of Skoda tram being present XD

Nice tram systeme in USA : Streetcar and Express Tram (light Rail). But some city, there light Rail is a Urban train
@centredoorplugsthornton41123 жыл бұрын
Several trams trolleys etc have the name of the city where they run right on the cars. Like the first one in Detroit. Left out the PCCs on Girard Avenue in Philadelphia. Look for privately run rail transit in the US. Very few examples outside of major airports. Fort Worth closed the Tandy trolley years ago to expand parking. A monorail connects resort hotels in Las Vegas. Three hospitals in Indianapolis were connected by a 1.4 mile elevated rail line that was limited to persons at the hospitals. It closed in 2019.

Actually, it _is_ San Francisco. MUNI, the transit provider in San Francisco, operates two old streetcar lines, the E & F lines, using mainly PCC streetcars that have been painted in the liveries of several cities that used to operate them. For example, the TTC used to operate PCCs on its streetcar lines, so there's a streetcar in the TTC livery that runs on the E & F lines in San Francisco. I had a feeling that would get someone... :)
