Since I’ve had multiple comments about this already, let me just make it clear that I realize that I made a mistake in pronouncing Joan Baez’s name. My mistake. I understand how it’s pronounced now. I wasn’t familiar with her before this film and I filmed this a week after seeing the film, so the pronunciation wasn’t as fresh in my head. Also, I understand that it’s Pete Seeger, and not Peter. Simple mistakes, but they don’t take away from what I’m saying about the film.

So good...i cried the first 30 minutes..lots of great music, greast cast, great acting...chill vibes..Chalamet for Oscar! Great editing, cinematography..

Just a little FYI, the love interest is a fictionalized version of a young woman who was made famous by being on the cover of the album A Freewheeling Bob Dylan. But because she wasn’t a public celebrity like the majority of the characters in this movie, they decided to replace her name. And Joan Baez is pronounced Bye-ez.

@ You misunderstood me. I was trying to say that the name of the character in the movie is not a real person. That she was based on a real person that they wanted to not use the name of. Which is why I chose not to use her real name. She was well known in certain circles. But didn’t have a celebrity of someone like Joan Baez. That was the point I was trying to make of why they chose to use a fake name for the character.
