Very! (Always love your interviews - the combo of great rapport + questions that get into the art of filmmaking : ))

This is great but one thing that is coming up in the groups I’ve shared is the mistake that James makes as he says Bob was 17 when arriving in New York he was actually 19 turning 20. 🙌

OMFG!!! NOOOOOOO! My favorite singer of all time played by my least favorite actor of all time. Dylan has always been bursting at the seams with talent and charisma, and Chalamet is anti-charismatic at its worst. There's at least 10,000 actors in Hollywood who could do a much better job, and they pick a total hack just because he is an up-and-coming star?" That ill-advised practice has sunk the entire Marvel Universe of movies. Who will they get to play Woody Guthrie, Johnny Depp? One of the guys from "Game of Thrones" or "Stranger Things"? Chalamet also totally ruined my favorite Movie character of all time, Willy Wonka, in the terrible movie I will never watch after seeing the god-awful trailers for it. And Dune??? What a flop that has been, led by that hack. I predict he will be caught up in a terrible sex scandal and ejected from Hollywood like so many other perves.

I'm even more excited to see him play The Beatles in the upcoming Sam Mendes-helmed bio-pics.

Dylan is a legend ahead of his time. Never has been or never will be anyone like him. He's a lyrical genius!

Thank you to everyone involved with this movie. The best part is gettimg to see this while he is still with us. His bravery has always astounded me. He means a lot to me. I would still be that "real good woman who would do just what he says" 😁

Dylan first came to NY late Jan. of 1961, when he was nineteen, not seventeen. He was in high school until he graduated in1959, after he had turned 18 in May of that year. Just trying to fact check here..(:

Not many know how developed and versatile his voice is. Or have experienced him Really singing. Shudderingly, as supple as his acting. Would have made as much of an icon in either arena.

Great interview; however, Dylan was 19 in January of 1961, not 17. But like you said, it's not a biopic.

I was so excited when I heard Timothee Chalamet was going to film a movie this Summer in New York and Canada, for three moths August - October in 2023. Because of this Hollywood strike shutting down “A Complete Unknown” bio pic scheduled for August 7, 2023. I believe “A Complete Unknown” will be made in 2024. Hopefully the same director and same cast will still be attached to this movie. I don’t want Timothee to lose this opportunity. I truly don’t want this movie project to fall apart. 😢😢😢😢😢

It was a special honor my KZbin video, a 4 minute version (I also have 8 and 20 minute versions) of my original song, "Tambourine Rain" was posted alongside an interview with James a few weeks ago. I can hardly wait until this movie is released! I wish they would use my song in the soundtrack but wishful thinking ha! Thanks for this great interview. I liked and subscribed.

Thanks so much for uploading this! 🙌 What a pleasant interview! I watched and shared it a day ago but forgot to comment. There has been so much speculation and I think this information provides a much clearer anticipation. 👏

Sadly, these people that talk about Dylan don't "fact check". They just blabber spilling out false information. Oh well, they must be like politicians
